Moneywise, nothing to report - which is good, I think - 2 weeks until payday so still some time before any cash comes in.....but all on track so far!

I have a friend who used to live in your village and it really is beautiful so no wonder you enjoy your runs round, hope your holding together nicely ready for the big day

Thank you - as you say, things change, things happen. We can't control all of them, but we can determine how we deal with them.

Make the most of the opportunities that are presented to you - even if they seem crappy at the time, they can turn out to be very positive if you allow them to be.

And yes, I am in a good place right now, and have been for a while now - life is good

Ahh, Friday! The end of a very long week is almost upon us! I suspect that the next couple of weeks will be just as intense, so I need to get used to it, but this week has been particularly so, so I am glad it is almost the weekend!

Last night I did have the pleasure of sharing a lovely bottle of wine with a lovely friend after work - certainly was a good end to the day, and one way or another, with it being Friday of course, I will get the opportunity for a drink or two this evening with the guys. Need to keep an eye on the pennies.

Have a good one, whatever you are doing - I think the sun is expected to shine again :cool:

Sounds like its been one of those taxing weeks with the budget etc hypno ... But wonderful to hear the running relaxing etc has been going well .... Have a great weekend ... Just my luck the sun is due out when im night shift all weekend ... Oh well never mind i just hope the rest of you get to enjoy it to its fullest

Glad you've now got a few days off to relax after a stressful week.
fun is on the cards here too...shopping with mothers day money and lunch at Nandos paid for by DD2 so very MSE..lol
