Bah to nothing fitting, FF! Still, that makes it more moneysaving so still good. (yeah, I know. no consolation at all!)

Had a much better day - started to get stuff out of my system a bit. Recognition is half the battle, isn't it! Lovely lunch in the middle of the day gave me a welcome boost, and an hour in the gym after work got some head clearing done.

Just had soup and salad for dinner, and about to do half an hour of pottering before sitting down to watch Dragon's den, and to get some more of the blah blahs on paper.

Hope you have all had a good day x

I've never found a hobbs outlet - but if you happen to stumble across one, please share!

I've spent the last hour and a half scribbling my thoughts - 9 sides of A4 lined paper so far.....

DS came down and asked what I was writing, so I told him that sometimes it is good to dump the stuff that is crowding your brain, in the same way that it is good to talk....and that sometimes just writing it down is as good as talking to someone, and is often easier to achieve.

He took one look at the pile of pages of my writing, and said "blimey, you did have a lot to dump".....

and of course, I've only just started.....there is plenty more dumping to be done!

My head hurts again, so I am going to stop writing now - and will hope that my brain switches off a little to allow me some sleep.

I did sleep well - until 4ish, so a good start. The main thing is that I didn't have difficulty falling asleep when I first went to bed.....and even when I woke, I didn't have that overactive thinking thing going on....I simply couldn't get back to sleep (if that makes sense) so that has to be an improvement.

Feel very tired today, of course - but it is all part of the process (and still only quarter past 6!).

In money news, I got a letter yesterday to say my water bill is going up each month by £10. It is still reasonable, as far as previous water bills at other houses have been, but of course it is another adjustment to the budgets. I will be doing a big money overhaul as part of this whole "stuff" thing I am going through, as there are more and more small increases like this happening, and I don't want to end up with my head in the sand.

Also, my gym membership will need to be incorporated, as well as the zumba classes with DD - things I don't want to cut out, but that need paying for. I suspect my monthly mortgage overpayment will have to be reduced before it is even started! But, to be honest, that is what a "cost of living" pay rise is for isn't it - to cover the increases in the cost of living! I really can't complain!

Hi Hypno, I'm glad to hear the sleep was a little bit better after starting to write .... it takes time, of course - lol to DS checking out the number of pages!

I've noticed lots of "little" increases - they really do add up, don't they, I too can feel a budget check coming on.

Hope today is positive for you.
