good morning Hypno,

Well, one of those days that turns out to be a bit odd really - first the news from Norway, but the relief that my students are ok - two of them are actually in Oslo so it feels very close to home
And the news that Amy Winehouse has died - another tragic, but altogether very different of course, waste of life. Whatever one thinks of lifestyle choices, it is sad that someone of just 27 is gone.
But in nicer news, I had a pampering day, feel amazing, and it obviously shows because some random guy started talking to me in town and gave me his phone number :rotfl:
Spent rather too much money - our local department store had 70% of gorgeous (but normally v. expensive) lingerie......so I stocked up  And also bought some lovely wedges, some CDs, and the Sex and the City boxset - I confess to never having watched it, so I need to put that right, and am looking forward to an evening or two with a glass of chilled white wine and the DVD player
On the way home I was wondering how on earth I am going to stretch my envelopes to accommodate all this spending I have done today......and got home to find a lovely tax refund that was well into 4 figures :T
So.....a bit of a rollercoaster day - full of emotions, some good some bad.

I'm guessing we're not talking £xx.xx here :j:j:j:jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Was that before or after the new underwear :rotfl: After the hair cut and colour, before the legwax, and before the new underwear.......make of that what you will :rotfl:

Certainly does - it will go into the savings account and will certainly take the pressure off the holiday next month. Couldn't have come at a better time really!
Hopefully most of it will still be there come September, and will eventually get used for something funIn the meantime, it is there for emergencies, or unexpected shopping sprees
