(belated) merry christmas everyone. Sorry I've not been around much - December's been a bit of a disaster in a lot of ways, including my alcohol intake, so I need to be hoping on the wagon again soon. I'm still on holiday so wish you all a very happy new year now, as I won't be able to get online later.
See you in 2012Trying to keep in budget.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. We had a great one-my kids are 5 and 2 so it's a very magical age for Christmas-keep wanting to freeze frame it if you know what i mean! Have been drinking every day but mindfully. Didn't go over board christmas eve or day and yesterday had two glass of red and today had a glass at lunchtime. Will be af tomorrow, Thursday and Friday with a glass of champers on New Years eve (working nights but will have a small glass to welcome the new year in and then af on New Years Day. Will finish under my total but unlike other Christmas's don't think I've been drinking just for the sake of it. Went for a long walk today so will have had three days off the exercise so shouldn't do too much harm to the waistline! Well done to those staying af-it's a tremendous achievement at a time of year when we are positively encouraged to over indulge. It was lovely last night to go to a family party and not have got sloshed and been slurring my way through conversations! I'm embarassed to remember a few years ago when I got really drunk so I could hardly talk...what must people have thought of me?HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Oh beckseven, I remember it well! That's me, not you IYSIM.
I've not got any AF days to report but have been incredibly sensible. Like half a bottle a day which is unheard of!
I believe what I've been doing is normal, sensible, social drinking. I'm very proud of what I've acheived (with the help of this lovely thread of course).:A0 -
Morning :santa2:
I hope everyone is having a good time. I have 2 more AFDs to add! On the other 2 days I did drink I didn't have more than 2 units!!!! I feel great
