I'm feeling very pleased with myself as just one day to go and I'll have done 2 weeks of full SNCs and well on way to my target.:) That's a good start to November for me. If I can acheive no SN drinking and sensible w/end drinking with no hangovers I'll be happy. However (like others), weekday invitations do crop up (and pre-Christmas that happens a lot) so the more AF days I can get in on 'ordinary' nights the better.
7AFDs for November and 3 for the SNC please Shaggy and Bearacus.0 -
Hi Everyone
Sorry not been around very much of late, work work work and then away every weekend. Im so looking forward to this weekend as im doing a big fat nothing! not going away, not going out. Planning to cook and bake lots and sort out my Xmas presents and write out my list.
Not doing so well on the AF front, 4 AF please Shaggy. As ive had lots of weekends away and drinking lots its harder getting back on the wagon and my resolve to do so is disappearing. However im going to aim to have the next few days as AF .....fingers crossedIt’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -
Forgot to say earlier that I find brushing my teeth to be good for stopping the bells and urges!0

Well my day didn't turn out great but at least I managed to stay AF. Hangover this morning, then I had to 'babysit' the work experience kid (aarrrrgghhhhhh). Then my boss called me in to say that when my workmate goes on maternity leave next year, I will be taking over her role as office manager on top of all the work I do now, and there was no mention of a payrise either. Don't know how I'm going to find enough hours in the day. DH said I should tell them to stick it, but I can't as they're not going to employ anyone else, and it's a very small office (me, 2 bosses and bosses daughter). Would have been nice if they delegated some of the work to bosses daughter, but no, it's down to muggins here.
Sorry for the rant. Anyway, quite proud of myself. DH picked me up from work, DS was at a friends house for tea, and instead of going for an after work drink, went home, cooked dinner and slobbed in front of the telly with a nice glass of lime and soda.

ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Going to the gym works for me - i don't really fancy one as much after a massive Spin class...i eat more healthily too:j0 -

Same. And going AF for a whole month I find the second week far far easier....i almost forget about it and become much happier and healthier...am seriously considering kicking it for good...0
