EVERYONE WELCOMEWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Mum's home from hospital now, so that's good
. Had a bit of a wobble last night. DH went round a mates to watch the Brighton game, and I told him I was going to have a couple of beers while he was out. I got a beer out of the fridge, looked at it for a while, then put it back and made a cup of tea. So 7 please Shaggy, and 3 please Bearacus.

wish i had seen this thread earlier! i am having a dry september and am 22 days AF wooooohoooo! its been really challenging...especially on weekends.
I must say, nights seem a little boring with no booze...did anyone else find that stopping drinking leaves a gaping hole in your social life?
I am really enjoying being AF during the week though - am aiming for 20 AF days in October!!0 -
Evening all
20 for me now for September (including today as I'm not planning to drink tonight) and all four for the SNC.
Hurrah, have got over my blip from last week and ready to complete the month with no more boozing.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
What is an SNC?0

Congrats.
A bloke at work today told me he'd been dry 3 months after getting a warning following an unrelated blood test. He used to drink every day, usually heavily, so I'm pleased for him too. Nothing to do with this thread, but nice.
So I told him it's been nearly a month for me and we exchanged congratulations. He said I looked much better and he suspected I hadn't had a drink for a while.
Jungle Jane, please scroll back a bit; it means "School Night Challenge".Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0
