  • Hi all. Not posted in a while but have been cutting down on the booze but haven't kept track of AF days. Ordered a small wine in a bar the other day. Can't remember the last time that happened!

Feeling inspired by all the healthy living on this thread and also the good budgeting on other threads. Going to be good in Sept.

Will post later. Just wanted to check in. Have a good day.

Hugs to you MrsR, it's difficult to keep it all together at the best of times, let alone when you have a new baby. As for the baby fat, I still have mine and the 'baby' is 6 at theend ofnext month!

I think my baby fat might last that long. At the moment I am sitting on my sofa, small glass of cider next to me, and eating Trifle (shop bought trifle and i'm eating it straight out of the container) :D

13 please, Shaggy, thanks. And target of 25 for September please.

I've painted hall and stairs walls and also lounge walls yesterday and today - SO busy, but it's done now. Looks so much fresher too. I went for lovely meal with DH yesterday evening - certainly not AF, but very pleasant. AF today though, even though he's been drinking wine.

DD1 still travelling around Thailand and Malaysia:eek:, DD2 at Leeds Festival :eek:and DD3 out with her friends at the moment - I'm always happier when they are all safely at home though.

Hope everybody has a good bank holiday Monday.

So many positive AF stories on there at the moment - I've been very indulgent throughout August :o, but all will be back under control in September

That will save on the washing up and that is soooo important when you have a little bean :). Cut all corners. x

    Morning all
Wasnt AF yesterday, had a great day with friends, but as i was drinking all reasonable thoughts about dieting went out the window as we ended up having a fish supper for tea:eek::eek: and then if that wasnt enough came home and had 2 slices of toast smothered in butter before i went to bed!! Think i will skip fat class this week :o

Thankfully no fuzzy head for me this morning, off work today not much planned except making 0 point WW soup and catching up on some Corrie. Bliss

    Hi Folks!

Its been a while since I posted! Congrats on the arrival of BabyR, MrsR! Go easy on yourself, being a Mum is blooming hard work, I promise it will get easier, hang in there.

We have just got back from our All Inc holiday and I'm proud to say that, despite wearing the magic wristband, I didn't touch a drop of alcohol. I never imagined that it would be possible - it would have been a green light for bingeing for me just a few months ago! I'm so proud of myself and feel that if I can acheive that then I've nailed it - there is absolutely no occasion when I should be able to justify a drink following this. There were moments when I considered having a drink but I opted for lime and soda instead (I have chosen this as my evening drink which sets it aside from all the regular soft drinks that I had during the day).

It was also interesting that we met and spent time with similar minded people - ok, they enjoyed a drink but only had a couple every night that lasted them all night and only drank coffee during the day. They didn't shrink back in shock and fear of an alien when I said that I didn't drink. I wouldn't have dreamed of hanging out with them last year - I'd have thought it strange that they weren't taking full advantage of free booze. I talked to hubby about it and he said that he'd always thought I drank too much but that it was up to me. Though I felt he should of said something at the time I know it would have resulted in an argument so its better that he didn't and that I made the decision myself.

Soo....10th September will be 5 months for me. It feels like a lot longer though!

Thanks again to you all - congratulations on all of your achievements - even lurking on the board is something to be proud of. I couldn't have done it without you.

    Much love,

    Lala xxx
