    Evening all!:D

Sorry to have been awol. Life hectic with end of school year coming up, work mental and also concentrating on getting out and getting some exercise to lose weight!

Decided I was spending too much time sat on my rear on the pooter so have been and signed up for my local councils leisure pass for myself and Piglet. Not cheap but needed doing. Now I gym 3 times a week if I can (after work and before picking munchkin up), plus lanes swimming. I also take Piglet swimming twice a week. Its great! I've also been to Aquafit, Zumba, Badminton and spinning!

To be honest, I'm feeling pretty good right now. I'm doing something for ME (and for Piglet) and I feel a gap, which I used to fill with alcohol, has been filled with sociable, healthy activities.

BUT...I do still like my wine! Which is why I'm slinking back in ;) I actually got down to one bottle of wine a fortnight (which, as those of you who know me will know, is a miracle!!:D) but it's slowly creeping back up again. I don't want it to get to the bottle a night scenario again. SOOOO......I'm back! (you ARE allowed to groan at this point!!!:rotfl:)

Won't join in with any challenges this month...ease myself in slowly!!:rotfl:

Off to TRY and catch up....I would imagine theres lots of new people. Hello to you all!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Hello all,
I'm up to 15 days this month. Tonight was the night where I might have been drinking but I'm driving now so in a nice way I have a very good excuse. I get a bit overwhelmed by large social events and 15+ people are supposed to be going. I know if I drive I can get home when I like too :)

My grand total is 67 days since I last touched alcohol. The bells seem a lot quieter nowadays :)

Yes please Shaggy - my Goal is 10, achieved 2 so far :)

Being realistic I'm just going for school nights AF, hopefully I can extend that within time . . .

Hope everyone is well this saturday morning?

I wasn't AF last night & had a bit of a fuzzy head this morning as a result but got a long day at work to shift it! lol

I'm much happier today, sun is shining and I've lost another 1.5lbs bringing my total to exactly 3 stone!:j

I know this isn't a weightloss thread but the empty calories in alcohol and the general feeling of lethargy it brings the morning after really don't help feeling good about yourself.

Hi Maman, just wanted to say a huge well done on losing that many stone - I bet you can't even lift that!! Well done!!

Also to say after a bottle of wine and pizza last night I totally agree with the second part of your post!!

Miss P, welcome back on here! And to the newbies this week. I'm really missing posting on here during the week but was thinking of you all and managed another 4 nights on the SNC this week so I'm up to 8 days now please Shaggy.

    Have a good week everyone!
