What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0

Another AF day to add here, so that's 6 for June please shaggy and 1 for the SNC.
Have been thinking of how not drinking usually makes me feel a bit boring and pedestrian whilst drinking feels more sophisticated . Slowly I am realising that what I need and now want in life is more 'dull routine' and sobriety as I can't manage to get everything done if I am half sloshed every night.
I thought that too (the bit about feeling boring), but now 6 months down the line of being AF I realise my life is far far from boring. My mind is clear and my life is full and if I fancy relaxing its because I choose to and not because I`m forced to through feeling c**p. Every morning I wake up knowing that I`ll have the motivation and energy to do whatever I want. When sociolising I know I`ll have the clarity of mind to have interesting conversations but also know that if everyones drunk I can slip off quietly without too much bother. Lifes wonderful as a non-drinker.
Mr R - I`m sorry for your loss x0 -
