Can I join the school night challenge Mackeroo please as it should be a challenge as I'm off work 2 days (tend to drink when not facing work the next day) :) Thankyou...would like to be free for the whole week again.

Not too late for anyone to join at any point during the week.

Hi Mackeroo, please can I come in for the full monty this week. I went really overboard on Saturday, had a bloody Mary to recover yesterday and I've come down with a bad cold. I suspect the alcohol gave my immune system too much to deal with.

No desire to drink at the moment, so happy to declare early at 3/25 and first of the school nights.

    Sleep well everyone.

Off to bed shortly - that puts me on 4 AFD's please Shaggy and 1 for the SNC please mackeroo.

Good luck for AFness this week Clarabell, I found that taking control and breaking the cycle was the hardest bit, like you say once you have done that it's much easier to take a step back and see your 'triggers' for what they are. Hope you have success this week x

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!

Sometimes I think it's that first step that is the hardest :)

Another AF day to add here, so that's 6 for June please shaggy and 1 for the SNC.

Have been thinking of how not drinking usually makes me feel a bit boring and pedestrian whilst drinking feels more sophisticated . Slowly I am realising that what I need and now want in life is more 'dull routine' and sobriety as I can't manage to get everything done if I am half sloshed every night.
    Trying to keep in budget.
