Well my daughters father has been cheating the system for the past 3 years. He was at one point even running his business and had a full time employee whilst he was claiming income support!!!

Nothing ever came towards our daughter

I reported him immediately but a year on nothing had been done, another year on, still nothing, so I reported him again, this time I forgot the Benefit Fraud Hotline, and I went direct to the head of fraud at the local council where he was claiming the benefits.....

On Monday, after 3 years, he finally has an interview under caution. He's bricking it.

They have a file full of the information, documents and hard physical evidence (courtesy of moi) that he has been sponging unlawfully.

    I hope they nail him.

    :j

P.s. What happens after the "Interview under Caution"?

    Fair play to you.

You should almost always report the thieving !!!!!!s!

After the interview under caution they may charge him! If the situation is serious enough he could face prison! Not immediately but eventually.

I guess that would make that decision all the harder for you to make when it came to reporting him!

One day some company will do what they say they will do and charge a fair charge.:T

Not doing the opposite of that which they promise and charge you a fortune for the privileged. :(

    Or maybe not:mad:

How will your daughter feel when her Dad is in court, possibly prison ? All because you decided to report him ? I'm in the same situation as you but i couldn't bear the thought of my daughters reaction if she couldn't see her Dad so i'm keeping quiet for now. I have, however, reported his slapper of a girlfriend !

If it was my daughter she'd think I'd got what I deserved...but then she knows I'd not claim for something I'm not eligible for.

A neighbour of mine was reported for claiming housing benefit to pay his morgage. He had put his name down as the landlord and his wife that he lives with was claiming the benefit plus others. When he found out that he had been caught out he attacked his next door neighbour saying he was jelous and the police had to be called to calm matters down.

    He sounds like an MP

I have had someone claiming benefits using my address for the past 5 years! When I first moved in to a new build, I found letters from the benefits agency talk talk and bt amongst others. I went to my local sorting office main post office called royal mail on several ocasions and called the benefits agency twice. I am still getting her post office account statement showing she is getting job seekers. Whats the point of asking people to report fraud if nobody takes any action. My worry is, will this affect anything of mine?

any advice guys, i stay in a block of flats with 4 council tenants and 6 owners. 2 out of 4 council tenants are a*seholes
But the one below us is the worse, with loud music etc.
to get to the point she doesn't work, has a teenage son and a young daughter (5-7 yr old). The child's school is less than a mile away but the mother some how can afford taxis twice a day cos she's so lazy. she pays for the taxis as ive seen her hand over cash. approx fare £7 so that's £70 a week on taxi fares. how can this scumbag afford this? also the smell of cannabis from their place most days to, how can she also afford this?

unfortunately i don't know what she's claiming for but i reckon something ain't right

well its been a while. Still being tortured by my neighbours music and the council are useless.

I reported her to the police regarding cannabis as evidence was there of dealing. Also called benefit fraud as this is technically a second income.

then last year the police raided the property and the daughter was taken away.
but nothings changed, still noise, cannabis smell and her getting taxis all the time along with the postman delivering loads, I mean loads, of amazon parcels to her. will be calling fraud again soon. mainly in spite of her ruining our lives.

but also is she still claiming for a child that no long live in her property?

    see what happens

I've said it before on here but I have been reported for benefit fraud by my next door neighbour (she loves to broadcast the fact she has) because she believes I am misclaiming DLA as she sees me occasionally putting the bins out.

She is absolutely convinced she knows the ins and outs of what I receive because she lives next door to me.

Only one small problem with her reports....erm, I don't actually claim disability benefits for myself and never have, she just assumes I do because I have a stick and a wheelchair.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

but I'm intrigued to know how you know she reports you because, I assume, when she rings up they just check their records, realise you aren't claiming and leave it...

As I said, she loves to broadcast the fact, telling neighbours and indeed myself that she has reported me several times....oh and moaning that nothing is being done, typical government etc etc.
