I'm a bit of a coupon/R&R spender so my aim for today was to gain some tesco cc points. Went to tesco (obviously) and bought £28.35 worth of toiletries after BOGOF's and coupons I handed over £6.02 and gained 302 points, I also paid £27.93 for a Techniks boom box mp3 player and gained 527 points. SAdly it's not the right one so will have to return it tomorrow (not sure if I will lose points though) and that's my day so far.

Weel, we used our entitlement to free things today, taking SD for a free eye test and going to the library, but did spend £1.19 on a big thingy of yeast. Went to friends' for the afternoon taking leftover champers from the wedding and a pot of home-made jam, but while we were out spent £2.14 on milk in LIDL. Not too bad I guess, hardly wild and crazy spending!
If you can't be a good example, be a dire warning :D

    MBNA charges and interest frozen
    Egg/DLC repayment agreement reached

    Feels like progress!

Oops, forgot that Nathaniel paid our tab at the farm shop with £34 of credit he had on a credit card - now how in the name of whatever does someone who owes as much as we do end up with credit on a card?!! The tab was a horrifying £40 though, so we still owe £6, and had to buy more eggs too. Nat very naughtily bought a big bag of Tyrrells crisps as well, so that's about £8 off next week's food budget! The £34 we're just writing off as that little bit of a credit was an unexpected surprise and didn't figure anywhere in our budgets.

Rather looking forward to those crisps...
