    I have had very bad experiences with both in the past and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. There is a very good reason their deals seem to good to be true!

    Couldn't agree more regarding TalkTalk, don't know about Tiscali. Have had nothing but grief from TalkTalk since last year. Connection is rubbish (that's when it is connected). Cust service is diabolically useless. They don't even know what your calling about on the 3rd or 4th call to them on the same matter.

    Talk talk (actually Pipex) provided us with a really good service for several years, then we had a problem - we completely lost our broadband connection. Phoned "customer services", got fobbed off and had to repeat ourselves about twenty times, went round in circles, finally gave up and started to look for an alternative provider.
    The internet connection came back after a few days (still don't know what it was) but we had had enough by then and moved supplier.
