I have just noticed that Google Maps doesn't seem to function with FF4, it will not expand, it is fine with Google Chrome.0

Seems to be using a lot of memory, but it's working fine for me.
I don't quite know what to make of Firefox 4. It's almost as if it wasn't tested properly, but it was in beta for 12 months. Strange!!0 -

I have encountered only one bug when with multiple tabs set up and whilst streaming video the drop-downs on the menu bar would close before I could make a selection - but I've not been able to reproduce it since.
The only vague - but easily resolved - issue was the homepage button location on the right-hand side of the toolbar, Easily fixed by right click>customise and clicking on and dragging the icon to the opposite end of the toolbar.
As for memory usage I've not found this to be excessive (currently a total of 29%) at all but this may not be a fair comparison as I am running Ubuntu 10.04 on a six year old 2Gb machine rather than the majority who I suspect are running some Microsloth product. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

Firstly, I'm probably biased as a very longterm FF user. However, although the resident geek in the household has been using FF4 since it first went to beta I've deliberately held off from using myself until it was released and have hammered it flat for the last couple of days in an effort to get it to fall over.

I don't doubt your experience regarding memory for one minute.
It should work properly on all configurations though, like Windows 7 for example.
Unless I have something seriously wrong with my PC, it doesn't.
I will admit that I have gone searching for the sites that cause the memory problems, and so I'm perhaps more aware of it than many due to following http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2115677&sid=f7accb4717477f52ae25d0a4b58db355.
I could, perhaps, have used it day to day for weeks without trouble, then suddenly found one of these troublesome sites, with the result that my PC would become very slow or unresponsive.
Would I have realised why? Maybe, maybe not.
It's a huge flaw in my opinion, which Mozilla should have sorted long before release. It's such a shame because I would be using it now if it were not for this.0 -

I agree with u Andrew/ resting on one's laurels / I really hope Mozilla do not / otherwise, a downward spiral.... and exit a substantial user base en masse!BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!

I can't find the 'Most Visited' button that was on the left belwo the Back arrow. I really miss that!
I was also really cheesed off that it installed the Yahoo toolbar without asking me. I was able to get rid of it using the Tools> Add-Ons menu.0 -

you can get to it by clicking the bookmark button, holding your mouse over 'bookmarks toolbar' and 'most visited' is there
or
you can turn on the bookmarks toolbar again if you want, just right click the toolbar and select 'bookmarks toolbar'0
