I love such programmes but they don't tell you anything new really the tips are what you already know or are so ridiculous you wouldn't consider it.
I personally wouldn't either but when my mother, somewhat older than you, says she can't wear fun colours etc i always suggests she just does it. I mean, if it cheers her up to wear an outrageous colour on her nails once it a while i think age should be no barrier. At the very least if people want it and don't want to lose dignity to glitzy fingernails, well....that might well be why god gave us toenails. Like nice underwear noone need know if you have age inappropriate colours, glitter and even pattern.
I have not had patterns my self since a teen when friends and i used to freestyle paint messy stripes on our nails. Not as sophsitcated as things nowadays, but fun.0 -

I thought everyone did that!! In the 60s my friends and I always used talc to make huge spiky lashes - I still do it now and I bet lots of other grannies my age do. But my technique is masses better than hers - you draw your lashes down onto the brush, with some pressure which separates them well, rather than push the brush up into the lashes which makes them go claggy. Much subtler you'll be relieved to hear.
That's the thing though, some of us have always done these different tips and take them for granted, to others they're brand new.0 -
Wow what a great program love mrs M wearing her sainsburys hat with her large frame on that small bike made my night on its own.I am so pleased its not just me whos totally shocked at the money that family spent on food I had not thought but it was only the dinners we saw I think that family needs to come on here and get some more tips. I am really looking forward to making playdough to play with the kids with I kept meaning to do it but the way I do it you have to heat everything up whereas with the way they did it you just mix it alltogether i cant wait till the net one.February GC £261.97/24 NSDS 10/12

Please do not follow the tip for attaching old carpet gripper to the top of fences etc. It can cause a lot of damage to cats and other small animals and also children who may just be looking for a lost ball.0

I watched it on +1 and like everyone else, couldn't BELIEVE they had £50 only for dinners and they spent nearly all of it!!! They are completely clueless!!! They didn't even try!
Agree about the mascara, she looked rubbish - but I liked the nails ideas, might play around with some of those - Ive got tons of colours because I always get a No7 one when they are doing the £5 vouchers, so I pay £1.50 or something.
I'm intrigued to watch next week's show, but I will never be an offal convert. I eat mostly veggie anyway so there would be no point!

I'm surprised the lawyers for the tv company that made the programme allowed that tip to go through.0
