    Good Morning All

(((Hester))) sorry to hear that. Can't believe their decision.
JackieG - they will be fine, watched a programme once that stated that parents who wrap their kids in cotton wool do more damage - know how you are feeling though.

Sunshine here again and its Friday :j have already done about half the stuff on my office to do list (although a lot of the stuff left is more time consuming:o)

Just about to put some washing in so can be line dried again. Hope to be out of the office by lunchtime. Have a Tesco shop coming between 11 & 1 and once delivered will be on their site to see if could have got it cheaper elsewhere.

As long as tesco deliver the chicken thighs will be having Chocclares chicken again tonight with egg fried rice. Really enjoyed it last time and so easy.

Trying to get lots done today so can spend tomorrow in the garden (as long as the forcasted rain showers allow). Needs a good tidy up, fences staining (only if funds allow) and a good sweep and pressure wash. Really looking forward to it.

Best be off now, have a good day all.x

    Morning All ,

HH - on your behalf! It's always geniune people who are trying to help or do the right thing that are prevented from doing so.
sistercas - congrats on your job :j

Feeling most odd today! Didn't sleep very well - combination of DH being up in the night and baby taking the opportunity to use my bladder as a comfy pillow for his very nearly engaged head! That combined with the fog down here today has left me feeling a bit other-worldly iyswim. Think I need a kip :D

DH is ok ish. I spoke to my friend here at work about testicular torsion and he seems to think it's highly unlikely that that's what DH has got, as his friend had it whilst they were living together at Uni and he says he can still remember his friend screaming with the pain! He was in hospital under GA within the hour apparently  DH's doctor gave his some different antibiotics; can't remember what they're called but it states in the info that they're commonly used in patients where other antibiotics haven't worked _pale_ dread to think what happens next if these don't work...

On the plus side, my big sister is coming up today :j and we're going to the Ritz for a particularly non OS tea tomorrow!!!

OS today, need to cook for all of us when I get in, probably pizza beef with rice and garlic bread.

Have good days all, hugs to those in need/want xx

    Morning all.

I've missed most of your news lately, Rambo Pig chewed the power lead on the router so I've had to use a wire straight to the modem. It didn't always work so I gave up trying to go online :D Got a shiny new hub now.

The kitchen is almost finished, just waiting for the silicone to dry around the tiles, then we have to paint the shelves and put the plinths on. At least most of the kitchen stuff is back in the kitchen now, cept the george grill, which is still on the coffee table :D A couple of the cupboards were built in to recesses, we still need to cut shelves for those. Once those cupboards are done, I can root through the boxes of food and starting cooking properly again. I haven't made a cake or a lasagne for ages, lol.

Fudge Chick has lost an eye, one of the other girls pecked her. I think it was Pink - Pink-winged, please control your chicken :D She's doing OK, a bit nervous but she's finding finding her balance again.

I think you should appeal - it sounds crazy to me.

Woke up early, made a pot of tea and kept out of the way while DDs got sorted out for work and school. Youngest is 17 so not being neglectful lol.Know that if I am dowstairs I'll be blamed for being in the way or distracting her somehow.

Have found out approved food will deliver around 1 o''clock today so need to be here to unpack.Mainly cans of soft drinks etc as we get through them quickly and DH moans if I load up at the supermarket.

Now we have found a Lidl only about six miles away I think he might be more willing to take me shopping when offers are on.

Have mackeral salad for lunch for DH and me and plan to defrost pastry and make some small bacon and egg pies to have for tea with homemade coleslaw and salad.

Could do with finding a recipe for chorizo and pasta for tomorrrow as I want to experiment a bit.

Anyone who loves Nora Roberts - try "Diamond Bay" - it tells the story of Grant's fellow agent and boss and follows up on Grant and his wife as well. I have the latest JD Robb and can't wait for peace and quiet to read it. Monthly catalogue sale is on tomorrow morning
so hope to bag a few bargains - at six quid for a full carrier bag it is worth a shot.

Going to have late brekkie and pot of tea so hug to all.
