Agree 100%. ALl kids now adays think they are untouchable. The media is so protective of kids its a joke.

Kids can be so rude and intimidating to people in the street now. It wouldnt of happened 100 years ago. A kid would never be rude to an adult in the street because the adult would teach him a lesson if he did.

Kids are too untouchable...action needs to be taken on these young horrible kids (all abut 11-16 yrs old) who have no respect for anyone. And all this is due to all the scum reproducing too much and having scaly kids.

WHat to do though? The simple answer is to just cancel all benefits. Also if a kid wants to mess around in school and be rude to his teacher then the kid should just be sent to the poorest place in africa to live and we can bring one of the african kids who WANTS TO LEARN AND RESPECTS EDUCATION to come over here and take his place.

Funny how african kids run 10 miles to school every morning, and love to get educated but our kids think its cool to bunk off school or not listen to the teacher.

They havent got a clue, I would just deport the lot of them

Please could you use the word 'some'.

Not all children are disrespectful, not all children mess around in schol, not all children bunk off.

And (playing devils advocate here), just who are you labelling scum?
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

    So what do you suggest

Benefits should go up at public sector wage inflation or cpi (whichever is lower). So at the moment they should be frozen.

    This is fair.

Yes, some is what I mean of course. I know not all (or even the majority) are like this.

But there are too many like this. I see them all the time.

And scum is basically people who just live off benefits and bring their children up to have this horrible attitude. There are mothers I know who if their kid has been awfully nasty in school and the teacher told them off then they will storm into school and shout at the teacher. The kid will get no punishment for being naughty. That attitude (very common now) = scum

The only scum I can see. are those peddling bigoted opinions about those whose lives they know nothing of.

So you think I am bigoted for thinking:

    1, work should pay
    2, children should respect adults
3, children should be encouraged to value their education and could learn from kids in third world countries whose 1 dream is to be educated

    Interesting.....

So people on benefits but not bringing their children up with the horrible attitude are ok?

The following reasons make me think benefits is better than work financially:

1, High (and rising) cost of commuting to work eating into profit from going to work. Being on benefits will mean you wont have to commute to work.

2, Benefits are linked to inflation and wage growth is lagging behind inflation. Thus, you are assured more of a pay rise if you are on benefits. Another reason to just go on benefits.

3, Less stress - you dont have to get up at 6 am everyday, and then only get home at 7pm when you are on benefits. Just pop down to the job centre every so often and scribble some rubbish on an application form and you will be assured of getting a nice little income.

Seriously, why would anyone work in an average £15k a year job 15 miles from them home? It will cost them a fortune to get there and they wont get any wage increase. Whereas if you go on benefits you can just sit in your house (not waste money on petrol) and get access to a benefits system protected from inflation.

The BoE and government (labour or tory) dont care about the working man. You might as well just go on benefits and stay inflation protected. Heck, if you play your cards right and have a few kids you cant afford then you can get a big house (free) and even more free money every week to support them.

Also there is no point working hard and saving because the government will just screw you with high inflation and low IR and make sure that your savings are ground down to dust. Also, if you get old an dhave no savings the government will pay for everything you need, whereas if you have savings they will make you pay for it yourself. Saving is pointless in the UK. It is better to spend as much as you can as often as you can, and to not worry about preparing for a rainy day. When the rainy day comes other people who prepared for it will fit the bill for you so its ok.

COnclusion = unless you earn £20k+ a year then you should just give up and go on benefits. IF you earn maybe less than £30k a year but have to travel to work then you should also just quit and go on benefits, maybe even have a few kids (the more the better chance you have of rinsing the system). That is my advice on how to make it in the UK

    Good luck.

Your not my ex husband by any chance are you???

Well, at least they are trying in the most important aspect of everyone lives - i.e. to bring up their children and prepare them for later life.
