Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ma..._anti_malware/

Open malwarebytes and go to UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated go to SCANNER and click PERFORM QUICK SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
If anything was found then do the exact same but run a FULL scan

My experience would suggest that any supposedly remote scan that directs you to a download to clear a problem your existing protection can't find should always be regarded suspiciously.

Btw - don't worry about the apparent freezes. Its working.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

yeah thats what i thought. it didnt help that i was browsing on google for something at the time. i wasnt on one of the regular sites i go that i know is safe.it was just a shock to see this legit looking webage coming up claiming it was from windows saying i had all these infections. yet when i looked at the address bar of the page it was the same address/company as the dodgy download to get rid of the viruses. KIS picked up and delated one threat when i started scanning which was an uknown threat dangerous object multi generic but it and SAS found nothing else. so im hoping that find was the actual dodgy webpage that came up and nothing else.

    reboot

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)
