Bedebtfree sounds like you're taking to OS MSE life like a duck to water:) xOutside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

JulieG I am the same, having read lots of hers anyway yesterday at the library found Remember when by Nora Roberts and JD Robb. I thought this was another name she writes by anyway, got it and its great, can't put it down. (I have found a few good ones in the large print section!)
I read that one... the first half I couldn't put it down... the second half (written by the same author under a pen name for her scrime series) I got so bored I took it back to the library!
Then again I don't like anything she writes under JD Robb, it always looses my attention....!
PLEASE tell me what happens!
I use the online catalogue and pay 50p to get them (if they are in Hampshire)! I also read Remember when in large print! My favourate book of all time is 'Sweet Revenge' have you read it?We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. Oh I loved Sweet Revenge, I also loved Midnight Bayou. I will let you know what I think of th second half of the book:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Afternoon all,
Lovely warm spring day here, very little sun but I can put up with that if I can go out and be comfortable without wearing every stitch of clothing I own.
OH and DS3 have gone looking for a gate to put in front of the 'compound' we are building for Kerry and Mossy, they need to be out but can't trust them when we are not around so are giving them a double kennel and lots of space to play around in...no doubt there will be much swearing as the lot is being put together, but I intend to stay inside until its finished.
Both grandsons here after school to-day, DGS2 is having noodles and DGS1 a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, so they won't need an early dinner....nice to see them both.
Have seen 2 houseflies to-day, thought that they would all have been killed off in cold winter, but appears not....hate the b***ers but they seem unavoidable here....too many sheep and cattle around I suppose.
Dinner to-night is steak, onions and fennel for OH and shepherds pie for me...freezer seems impossible to empty, must take some of the frozen currants and other fruit that is in there and make some nice puddings....but then as rhubarb comes on some of that will be going in. Have an upright freezer in one of the sheds, may have to put it into service if peas and beans work out well this year as am determined not to buy those over the winter when they come thousands of miles and cost a fortune.
Hester....manners and common decency seem to have gone with the wind....too much about rights I think and nothing about duty....don't start me off!
JackieO...Think that you should keep both your vacuum cleaners and be assured that you should not feel guilty in any way....you are such a wonderful person who maybe should think a little about your own rights.
Need to pay my bin charges this week, also have to pay for spinning class, which is eventually happening on Saturday next, car tax is up end of month and have to pay for tickets for Sardinia too....feel broke so freezer here we come for the rest of the month!
Have read thread in several short visits so have forgotten most of what was said....hugs to those of you who are in difficulty of any kind.

Sunny and cold here today, I have been to Tesco, am about to make dinner and possibly dye my hair, and then off to Parent's night at the school. JackieO I am with Marie, don't bother giving them any of the vacuums, cheeky blighters!
Hope everyone is safe and happy.

Afternoon all
Today flew by at work. Glorious day here
sunny and warm, walked to/from work and didn't even take a coat! Spent half of today doing some of my Advice & Guidance NVQ, luckily some of it is similar to the LDSS NVQ I did last year so is transferable!
I'm a bit  cos when I came home yesterday there was a missed parcel card from HDN. I rung the number to get it redelivered to my work address, and the really rude woman who answered said that there was no parcel for me and that the driver must have made a mistake. I tried to speak to her manager cos I'm awaiting 2 parcels from people but she insisted that there was no parcel then hung up on me! As it was my birthday I CBA'd with ringing back so went online and arranged redelivery to home (knowing I wouldn't be in!) to check whether there was actually a parcel. Came home today and there is another missed parcel card, so there must be a parcel. This time I have just used the automated service to arrange to collect it tomorrow morning, very annoying though! Imagine if I had just taken that woman on her word, what would have happened to my parcel?!
Anyhow, I'm off out with parents and nan for late birthday dinner shortly. Going to the local pub by me, it's a Brewer's Fayre but quite a nice one. It backs onto a lake so has lovely views.
I need to do some uni work when I get back from dinner, won't take too long though.
OS wise - mmm I've emptied the bins
Have a good evening all

Afternoon/Evening Peeps,
Where has the day gone? It has been another lovely day here, unfortunately I seem to have missed most of it.
Had my first counselling session this morning, grabbed a few bits on the way home, came in & fell asleep on the sofa!! Only woke up when son came in from school half an hour ago so I am so far behind myself today I am not even going to try & catch up:) Must be old age creeping in, I used to be able to talk for England now, talk for 1 hour sleep for 4.
OSwise did put some washing out earlier which I'd better go & get in a minute & DP is making spicey sausage pasta for tea & that's my lot.
Hope you've all had good days, off to catch up with the thread now.
Hugs, spoons & hi5's as required.

I had a lovely meal out.
My nan told me that my 16 year old cousin is pregnant so it's public knowlege now. She has told her mum who actually took it very well, but not yet told her dad (even though her parents are together). I've just sent her a fb message saying congrats and offering my support.
