Julie, here they are for the next 3 years
Just so you are prepared
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Nl1/Newsroom/DG_185398
Just rung the surgery so I can get an appointment for DC2 as he was complaining that he hurt when he had a pee. They want me to ring back at 2pm to get the triage nurse to ring me back and make an appointment with a Dr. The boys come out of school at 2.30 so that is going to be fun. Will have to get Dad to stay with them until I can get there (surgery oppisite the school.) It's a pain because I could have saved him a journey out to school today.
(((hugs))) Hillstep
Hope the scan goes well MummyBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

My cousin's wedding on friday was lovely, everyone's still raving about it(groom hasn't stopped grinning i don't think!) and it really was lovely! I never saw myself doing Oops Upside Your Head in a georgian manor- you can take family out the legion but you can't take the legion out the family, my uncle kept farting on everyone :rotfl:
The staff knew exactly who to keep happy, like my nan, and were sooo accomodating even doing special diabetic versions of some courses.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

I will have a look on Thursday, but at 6" and 36" inside leg I really struggle with trousers! But I will definatly see what they have on offer... especailly since I am small enough to buy from supermarkets! :TWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
The jeans I ordered from Very have just arrived, they are meant to be 27" inside leg but holding them up to me they are dragging on the floor. Will have to dig out the tape measure and mesure 'em before I try 'em. Will be really pee'd off if they are too long. All I want to do is have some jeans I can wear flats with
Surely that's not too much to ask? BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Arrrgh DD is constantly screaming in the garden at imaginary spiders!!! I forsee a stressful summer with bees ahead too <rollseyes>
Washing on line, kitchen clean and tidy, put vac round the entire house and off to clean bathroom in a mo.
Cat was heard squeaking from the bottom of the garden in the hedge at the end. DD has really missed the cat this morning and consequently won't leave her alone. So she keeps running off causing DD to howl in disappointment.
Anyone want a small child for a few hours
Hilstep - Sorry to hear about your cousin xxx Very sad. My thoughts are with you all, especially his wife xx Can't believe DGD is 11 months old!
Reverbe - thank you for a lovely offer but it's too far for me to travel and I work Fridays. Hope you can find someone to give them to.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

As suspected the inside leg is 29" Just checked on the website and it definatly says 27" . So have arranged collection and they are sending me new ones which will hopefully be 27".
I have rung the local butchers and it is not going to be to economical to get my meat from there. It is going to be fantastic quality as they get it from a local farm but at £8.06 per kg of beef mince and £6.89 per kilo of chops and £6.40 per kg of GF sausages I think I will have to stick to SM's for the time being.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Hi Chums well time to tighten the belt even more .my plumber has been and my heating is back on again Apparantly the control box had blown so I needed a new one .having just wriitten out a cheque for an eye-watering £245.00 I am definitely not going anywhere near a shop for the next few weeks. This has been a bit of an expensive year this year .So far I have had to buy a new washing machine ,just had the heating fixed and my dyson is on the way out the door as well.Luckily my DD gave me her old one for using upstairs so that will be coming down stairs for everyday use.I'm a bit cross actually as one of my neighbours kept borrowing my dyson once a week and a couple of weeks ago she sent her young DD back with it saying that the hose wasn''t working properly and her Dad had 'fixed ' it with tape .Well I have never had any problems at all with it and then yesterday when I went to use it the ordinary bit is o.k. but when I went to use the extension hose (I don't often use it as my right arm isn't very good at going above my head but I wanted to do the edges of the skirting board) and the brush end of it just parted company from the hose .So unless I want to shell out even more cash for a new hose its U/S. I think next time she wants to borrow it I shall tell her to keep it as I can use my spare one and it will stop them borrowing all the time .My youngest DD is furious as she says they take advantage of me.
Well I have decided enough is enough and a lender I will no longer be. I know they have some financial problems but its hardly my fault and I have stopped loaning then cash as it was becoming too much of a habit .£20 on a Sunday paid back when their giro came in.Well there are five of them in there and none of them work and the three youngsters are in their late teens. My DD says if they can afford to smoke and have Sky then they can buy their own hoovers which I suppose is right. They have five lots of s/s coming in whilst I keep myself on my pension. You don't think I'm being daft do you by putting my foot down/ I would be interested to see what others thought,I am quite an easy going sort of person as a rule but my dyson going wrong is the last straw I think.Maybe I'll cool down over the week.
I'm going for a large cup of coffee now I have had my rant out of the way.
P.S. The sun has actually come out at last and it looks quite nice so I may go for a walk to the library and a stroll around the park
Cheers chums
