Morning everyone,
Haven't been around much lately. Had DGD a lot recently whilst DD gets her shifts sorted out. She is 11 months old now, and crawling! Where did that time go?
Beautiful sunny day today, will try and get out in the garden. Got a man coming on 4th April to do all my garden. Having it made much easier for me with paving and raised beds, so at least I will be able to keep on top of it. At the moment it is just depressing:o
Awful day yesterday. My cousin died of bone cancer. He was 61. He had oral cancer two years ago and loads of surgery, but it had spread and we didn't know. His wife is totally devestated. They've only been married for two years. The funeral is next Thursday.
Anyway, hope most people are okay, I will get back on here soon, just don't know where the time goes:rotfl:I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Lovely and mild here at the moment and the weather forcast is good :j
Am in the office mainly but may have to take OH's pickup to the garage if he doesn't get up in time
Just about to route around the freezer for something for dinner tonight, still trying to get the freezers down. Have good old fry up for dinner last night - have loads of bacon that needed to be used. If I find some chicken breasts in the freezer will have chicken and bacon tonight.
Thank you again for all the Birthday wishes. I did have a lovely weekend. Got some Amazon vouchers for my birthday and put them towards a new saucepan set and slow cooker that should arrive today, gone are the days where I hated getting house things for birthday pressies :rotfl:
Hope you all have good days.x
Essex Girl, I do that
The last couple of years I've had my Panasonic BM, my slow cooker, new WM, food processor like that. It's stuff I use and makes my life easier, so I am happy :T
nmlc, hope the session goes well. It will take some time but you will start feeling better. Be prepared to feel worse to start with when you come out of a session.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Morning all!
Scan day today, so I hope Spud is being co-operative and going to show whether tis a pinky or a bluey! Best friend coming with me as babydaddy appears to have gone AWOL!
OS stuff will be limited, house is reasonably tidy, but will have a whizz around this evening. No idea about dinner as I can't remember what was on the meal plan, think it's poss chicken and ham pie! So best get on and make some pastry at some point too!
Placed an order with Approved Foods yesterday morning, got a text about 10mins later saying it was being picked and packed, and just had another saying it'll be delivered this afternoon, and giving me a one hour time slot! Most impressed! Stocked up on noodles and wraps, and packet couscous - last one not very OS, but cheaper than making it myself and a quick and easy snack for the kids, healthy too!
Hope everyone has a good day xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Hillstep How sad for your family big ((((Hugs))))
HH your poor DH:eek: what is the world coming to
nmlc glad your sessions are imminent and am sure they will help
Bitsy you reminded me of Candy our old cat sadly passed now but she used to knock on the bedroom window to come in every morning, we didn't need an alarm clock:)
Essex Girl Glad you had a good birthday, I remember when I got excited about girly presents, not anymore, have you seen the new cookware range in M&S in lovely pastel colours, I'm drooling:D:rotfl:
emsf, Butterfly Brain I am dreading our bill coming, I think I will ring up today but am dreading it:eek:
Redruby pork chops for us as well tonight
Had a reminder for the car insurance this morning, gone up £300 from last year and no claims or changes:eek: so will have a look around today for something cheaper. Its an expensive car to run, insure and tax and I would get rid like a shot but DH loves it and can't be persuaded, money down the drain as far as I'm concerned:mad:
A quiet day today, lots of paperwork and will walk to the post office with my ebay sales. The sun is shining and all the little seeds are getting bigger every day. When do the clocks go forward, I'm sure its soon.
Have a new Nora Roberts on the go so will have to fit a bit of reading in at some time today:D Have a good day peeps xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

morning,
Just about to put washing out. The forecast is good. I am going away on Thursday so in a good mood and will be finishing off my case today. Also popping into town and the library.:footie:0 -
Hester Some people have no respect... Makes me grateful for my job though x
Bitsy I have a cat like that, once we got a cat flap he mellowed big time... my house is much safer, and the neighbours complain a lot less (he's been done but he used to go in their house and spay ) Only problem we have no is he brings mice in the house... but he's click on to the fact that we chase him out and lock him out for the rest of the night... he doesn't like that!!!
Lilstep sorry to hear about your cousin x
Morning Everyone else!!
I had a lovely day on Sunday at the Christening. The Club where the meal was held did really well accomodating my dietary requirements (I did get gluten free bread instead of granary as requested, which I can't have so I just didn't eat it) the salad with my dinner was amazing, so I recreated it some last night with my dinner! LOVELY!
They liked my gift, and we had a wonderful day
Today the washing is on the line, the Rabbits are on the grass and the day is going to be lovely... I am stuck at work, but i'll walk on the beach at lunchtime
I got some tops at the weekend from my SIL, loosing weight is great (I'm a size 18 now... I was 28, all my clothes are 24/26 and way too big) all I need now is trousers!!!!
I feel pretty again
Dinner tonight is HM Wholewheat Tuna, Onion, Tomato and 3 cheese Pizza!!!We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Julie67 which NR book are you reading? I am currently going through her list as I have read all the books from 1997 - 2010 but not the earlier ones! I am having trouble getting some of the earlier ones from the library though (unless they have been re-released!)
I am currently reading the Garden Trilogy again! I'm always re-reading the books I have... I only own about 50 though (god how sad!)We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. Morning
I have a few nights off work and the house is a mess so I've lots to do.
Kitchen is a mess so that's my 1st job. Going to also list what's in my cupboards and see when I need to do a food shop.
Going to try and make lentil and bacon soup (need to find a receipe 1st)
Kids room is being blitzed today - they have been warned. It's best to do when their at school so I can just bin things without an agrument.
Also have a mountain of washing to get through. It's raining today but should dry up by lunchtime so hoping to use the washing line.
Also need to order a new motor for my dy*on. I am using a v*x at the moment but I miss my dy*son. Motor is only about £34 far cheaper than buying a new one.
Well have a good day all.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

morning all!
a lovely morning here:j and its my day off!:j
Dh has got a half day too so we may go out somewhere later.
Lots to do in the garden but just need the energy as still got a cough and cold.
DH has requested some Easter Biscuits so need to find a recipe for those.
We're using up the freezer stuff this week.
We decided to put off buying a new freezer just yet - will manage with the fridge freezer, its not as if we need to store lots of food as DS works in a supermarket so we go there 3 times a week.
I'd like a tall freezer so will need to get saving so I can have the one I want.
Washing on the line and another lot in machine.
Hilstep - (((hugs))) sorry about your cousin x x
Halight - hope the twin's face is better today x
mummysaver - good luck with the scan x
have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0
