  • Unless you've already got a whole stack of PS2 games, it's madness to choose a PS2 over an Xbox at these prices. Remember that the Xbox is a far more powerful piece of kit than the PS2, it has a built in hard drive, can output to HDTVs and is easy to modify to play backup games or to use as a media centre. Even if prices were reversed and the PS2 was £50 and the Xbox £80, the latter would still be a better buy.

    I agree. I have and an xbox since they began and the 4 games that are bundled are some of the best games you will see on any console. I had to buy one at this price and its going to become a Media Center. Hoping it will replace the very large Media PC i have built.

    I have one of these sets reserved in Bicester until close of play today (26th) and two in Banbury until close of play tomorrow (27th).
