Just wanted to add support, I've been where you are, and still am a bit, my oh found out about my debt early Feb, and he was very upset, angry and worried about me, but we are slowly moving forward.
It takes time, but it's a hell of an easier journey to take with someone else on board, and the relief I have now not dreading the mail,or the phone ringing, is immense.
Together we are sorting this mess out, which is great because for long enough I thought "my mess, I'll sort it".
I have to say tho with interest charges, its VERY easy for debts to spiral, spend £800 on a credit card and before you know it its doubled, most of my debts seemed to be made up of interest!!
Good luck, and i promise things will get better each and every day, you're moving forward now

Hi there
sorry that your OH reacted so poorly. But well done for actually doing it.
Have you looked at the statement of affairs link in the first time posters thread at the top of this forum? It will help you calculate a budget, which you can then show to him, and use it as a tool to explain that you will have to cut back on things to get things on an even keel again.
take care
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
