  • Morning everyone :hello:

    Happy birthday to Miss DLB!

I just love this site! If I hadn't joined this site I would know nothing about pigsback. I bought a cd (Snow Patrol) last night that should have been £7.99. On this site I got a 50p off voucher and pigsback gave me 200 points for a first order! So net cost to me? £5.49. :j :j :j

Will be going into w**k late today as the Genesis tickets go on sale at 9.00am today and I will try to buy four at a far cheaper cost than the ticket "tout" websites are charging. Face value of the tickets is around £62 and some sites are charging up to £350 for them!   They are pricing some people right out of the chance to see a band that haven't performed live for around 20 years.

Do these class as Money Saving exercises? :rotfl:

Off to have brekkie. Boiled egg on toast I think today. Lunch: Hm turkey salad sandwiches. Dinner will probably be a takeaway. :shhh:

    Have a fantastic Friday everyone.

    Good morning everyone,

Happy Birthday mini DLB and Kyles OH!!!

I am so glad its Friday!!! Have 3 little ones here today, and have promised we will do dressing up today, also planning on making bees out of an old egg box!!!
Need to clean the kitchen floor again, dropped a whole tin of roasties on the floor last night (yes we did pick them up and eat them  , i had only cleaned the floor earlier on) and although i gave it a good clean last night, i still think its a bit greasy, so will be doing it again. The floor has never been so clean!!!
Also ordered myself a new DW lat night, my new one i got last month went wrong a few days after i got it, engineer came out said it needed new parts and he would order them, 2 weeks later and loads of phone calls, they agreed to replace it rather than fix it as the parts were not in stock. They then decided to deliver the new one before collecting the old one, so i cancelled it all, and have ordered from somewhere else!!!! Broken one now being collected on Monday, and new one should arrive next week sometime.
Right, better get moving, packed lunches to make and first little one due any moment!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well it's horrible here, it's pitch black and the rain is belting it down!

Anyway, didn't manage to start the ironing last night but I did manage to get a load of free pickling onions from my dad so that will be tonights job

Apart from that not much going on with me, off to the good food show this weekend and can hardly wait although I'm not sure what to expect. Has anyone been that can let me know?

Well busy day in w**k so better get back to it.

    Morning all!!

    Happy Birthday Miss dlb :)

Just the normal take parents shopping day today. I hope to relax when I get home as I feel washed out lately. I don't need much shopping as I need to run the freezer down to fit the christmas food in.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I saw them back in about 1984! Well I say I saw them - I actually stood with a pair of binoculars trained on Tony Banks for the whole concert. My BF at that time was just a teensy bit jealous. :rotfl:

XDH and I are hoping to take DS and DD and introduce them to music from our past. :D
