Are you on the lowest tariff you can be? If not drop the tariff right down.

OP advised in the first post that Voda will not downgrade the tariff.

Why not? Surely it's in their best interests to lower the tariff rather than have to chase a debt.

Maybe, but that's the decision that the OP advises Voda have made. She may only be a few months into a 24m contract, we have no idea. If the networks agreed to renegotiate contracts every time someone said that they had difficulty paying, then evryone would be trying that on.

This makes no sense to me. Unless you mean PAYG after the contact expires.
Sell phone, use the large wad of cash you can get for an iPhone to pay the early termination charge ;)

Then take up a cheap PAYG offering.

Provided the OP is at least 1 month into the contract, which I assume she is considering she can't pay it (otherwise I assume she wouldn't have signed up) then lowering a tariff should be fine.

We need to know why Voda won't allow a drop in tariff, because "it's an iPhone" is a little vague.

Voda don't allow tariff dropping any more, on any phone.

If your agreement ends before the end of the minimum period then you will also have to pay the sum of the line rental charges for the remainder of the minimum period (subject to a discount as applicable at the time).
You sound like the discount is something definite. Is it?
Also, if it's a 24 months contract the early termination charge is likely to be bigger than the proceedings.
