Welcome to the newie's :wave:
Like the name Angry Bear but not too sure about the avi after events in Norway at weekend though!
@Gra76: It might be nothing, but I'd get checked out just for the peace of mind.Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

Would any of you be worried if you'd lost the weight as I've done? I'm not so sure it's worth bothering anyone about but my wife thinks differently.
Making small changes such as cutting snacking can result in significant weight loss - I have noticed this with my OH in the past when I have stopped buying snacks.
However, I agree with your wife - if you are not sure how you have lost the weight, you should get checked out by your GP. At least you can put both your minds at rest and enjoy your weight loss.

Just got back from 2 hours cycling today. Feeling stronger and burned 1045 cals. 30 miles covered and averaged over 15mph.
and he closer you get to goal the harder it will be to loose, partly from the reduced BMR by being lighter but also your body wants to hang on to a decent % of fat as a reserve incase of famine0 -
Gra76 - I wouldn't worry about it, if you have cut out snacks then that will account for it (Eric has explained it really well). The stress will probably have added to it as well. I have often lost, and put on, a fair amount of weight without really trying - always due to very small lifestyle changes.
On another note, if your GP isn't very nice then can't you just see a different one? It may be different in other areas, but at our surgery we can see any doctor we like - I can't even remember the last time I saw the doc I'm actually registered with!Matryoshka wrote: »I pretended I was on my own reality show - At Home with Matryoshka :rotfl:and the nation was watching me working out. Wasn't sure about taking my top off though as didn't want to flaunt my mummy-tummy but anyway, I kept on talking to the 'camera' saying how tired I was but how exercise kept me fit and kept on flexing my muscles to show y'all. And anyway, everyone is talking about my show - At Home with Matryoshka
Am I insane? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Lol, that is hilarious, Matryoshka!!! :rotfl:
TBH, I would actually love to watch At Home with Matryoshka, I'm sure you would inspire us to exercise more - you could be our new exercise guru!!!:DAngry_Bear wrote: »@lolly101: I had tried (and failed) a few times before, this time I'm 5 months in and I used NRT (the inhalor things) which made a HUGE difference. Also, it's almost £7 for my preferred brand and saving over 2.5k per year is very MSE :rotfl:
I've never tried the inhalors, I found the the chewing gum quite good (and the patches useless!) but unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to properly quit until something clicks and I really want to stop, rather than just thinking, 'hmm, I guess I should stop smoking as I know it's not good for me', if you know what I mean. Maybe I need to work out how much money I'll save - that should give me a bit of motivation!0 -

I can be crazy at-times :rotfl::rotfl: When I used to jog around the athletic track, during the last lap, I'd start saying to myself, "And here she comes. The athlete from England. Can anyone beat this woman? She's unstoppable. And she wins gold again". And when I actually pass the finish line, I'll raise my arms up before being aware of the other people using the trackSECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:
