Done what I can - given up on the shower door. Tried everything on it - Lime-lite / lemon juice / vinegar / Harpic 100% limescale remover(!) As of now the grey haze of limescale marks remains victorious.
The rest is done for today though, & the sun's shining in through my newly cleaned windows so all's right with the world!0 -
did loads at lunch break, but bathroom only got the old S&S, the garden was shouting louder for attention:beer:
mint1955, I learned to turn a blind eye to teenage bedrooms, in the end I said its their mess, they have to live in it, they did their own washing and ironing, as long as it didn't spill out of the bedroom and the door was shut, I didn't know about the mess. BUT, no friends in unless tidy and I would go in and clear the place if it became a health hazard :rotfl:Sue
Do I need to eat it
Can I afford the calories:eek:
have I checked for a lower calorie version:T0 -
Another lovely sunny day spent at work, then home to a pit of CHAOS
.
So far I have enjoyed inspecting the garden and sniffed lots of lovely things and admired all the new growth, then put the TD on (wasteful I know but I haven't time to peg it out
), DW emptied and filled, money shuffled round as it is OHs payday and eaten lots of biscuits.
The kitchen is really, rather horrid. The Dining Room looks like a laundry - full of clean but unironed clothes. The Snug has a thick layer of dust and dog hair on everything, and a huge stack of unsorted paperwork. The playroom is knee deep in lego and unwashed cups/plates. The stairs door is shut and I am not even going to think about the state of upstairs - although I have washed and replaced the bedding on Monday so it could be worse.
Ho hum, baby steps and all that.
HHC at 4.45pm anyone? Not doing it on my own, if no one is playing then I am wallowing in dirt

Hello everybody,
Sorry I’ve not posted since Sunday. I have worked every day and been out every evening, so I’ve not been in the house much.
It’s the weekend now, so I intend flying, with a vengeance.
Every window in the house needs cleaning, and I can see (now that the sun is shining) that a lot of the paintwork needs cleaning.
The decluttering is continuing and this helps me to get to the places that need doing.
Okay…off to find a list…will report back later.
hugs

Don't worry it is called Johnson's Veterinary Clean n safe. Disinfectant, Cleaner, Deoderant. Bought it at a pet shop. Haven't used it much as you have to leave it on 15 mins to work. It is for Cat's & Kittens (it says on bottle "do not spray on actual animal")
Don't suppose you know of anything similar for dogs?Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -
