    Hello,
I'm so jealous of all the lists with loads of stuff crossed off but this week has been so manic, not gettng home till seven, then pets to muck out, me to get scrubbed up...blah...excuses....
However, I have managed to wash up every single night - it's a small success story but a start to help my motivation. The cats are impressed that they have their biscuits in a clean bowl every day now, poor things!! :D
Finally got a day off tomorrow, hoorah :j.
I've picked out a few realistic things from each day this week to do tomorrow - my baby cat is in the vet being speyed so I will be manically trying to keep busy until they call me to say she is ok...

What I like from the daily lists is the variety of items - sometimes I read items on the lists and go 'oh yeaaaah - that's a good idea' - washing my curtains - goodness, a pretty easy job that hasn't been done since last summer!

    :):):)

    So my list:
Vet twice (drop off and pick up)
    Muck out pets
    Clear lounge tables/wipe surfaces
Wash curtains - bedroom and lounge/dining area
    Floordrobe clearance
    Bins

    Then food shopping (booooorrring!)

Does anyone know if there is a meal planning thread? I hate cooking and some inspiration would be useful for quick and cheap meal ideas. I do want to learn to cook one of these days.
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Got DD2's school assembly tomorrow pm so by the time I get home from work will be time to get back out again. I had a half hour blast in the kids room but it will look a complete mess again by the morning. Need to have a rethink in there and maybe padlock their wardrobe as I have picked another 5 items of clothing that have been worn for 10 mins and chucked on the floor:mad:.

DH is London tonight so billy no mates tonight - although 2 pickles have gone to sleep in my bed.

I have a 19 year and a 20 year old and both their bedrooms are a tip they have ruined the carpet with makeup and general carp and they are like pig sties with more clothes on the floor than in the wardrobes. Bins seem to be in the wrong place for the rubbish to land in them!!! Both seem to think its fine to live like that and I have got to the stage I give up expecting their “clean up” to be what I would call a clean up. DO I just shut the doors for a few years until they leave or go in and just get the rooms cleaned or carrying on arguing the toss? They will change sheets and towels when I present clean ones and every week on bin day present me with a carrier ofstuff and as long as I ask regularly not too much of my crockery lives with them full time but I would so love their rooms to be CLEAN AND TIDY.

Mine are 15 and 12 and I go through fazes of shutting the door and ignoring it until the smell gets too bad as DD does not seem to realise that use sanitary produces should be disposed of at which point I go in a fumigate it. I have found that withholding pocket money to cover the cost of carpet cleaning very effective in getting DD to be more careful when applying make up;)

Not much flying done today but house still looks ok and should stay that way as OH and dogbot have gone up north to see the MIL and FIL, DS is going to stay with his dad and DD will be out with friends. So fingers crossed most room may be fine with a quick going over.

    Evening all

Had a lazy evening here, Miss A and I watched DIY SOS, the big build or something like that! Wow a whole house sorted, amaaaaaaaaaazing.
AnWsMum - It's my neices birthday today as well (4th) and we are all going to my sisters house after school :) Free dinner and no messing up of my house after school - very MSE and Flylady-ish!!! :D

Hope she had a good day, my niece is now officially a teen although she was born with teen attitude :rotfl: she was on good form tonight though so all was good.

We had birthday cake when we got there (more or less straight from work/after school club). When we got home at 7pm it was a tad too late to start messing cooking so we had marshmallows and melted choc for dinner :o:o:D:eek: Never been that bad before but hey ho it's ot every day your niece turns 13! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :p
