Action, as in "can this be actioned please?" or "this will be actioned later". GRR!

Inbox, as in "i will inbox you" or "inbox me please".
    "this page intentionally left blank"
I was told once that the reason for this phrase on things like exam papers etc, is so that it is clear that is a blank page and simply not a printing error.

Oh, and another one that get's on my wick.
People (especially politicians being interviewed) asking themselves a question and answering it.
    Why? I have no idea.
Do I think its right? No.
Would I do it again? Yes.

And now I hear Joe public doing it too trying to immitate them.

"Bring back Capital Punishment" is the one that annoys me most at the moment.

    "apologise"

This word is the cornerstone of all customer services. It doesn't mean anything.

    We apologise for the delay.

    We apologise for the inconvenience.

    I apologise for that sir.

Moreso, "We apologise for any inconvenience." usually when it's something major like closing a train line or motorway. Because of course, we only ever want to travel on unnecessary journeys.

In closing, I apologise for World War 2, 9-11, Ratners faux pas, and Manchester United not winning the Champions league.

So why is there text on the page? If it's supposed to be blank, then leave it blank. Doh!

I saw this amusing sign once in my younger days. "Dogs must be carried"

Couldn't find a dog anywhere that I could carry!

    Hospitalised.

I mean, is that a real word? Maybe the grammar experts here can explain why it looks and sounds so wrong?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but just came across this one and haven't had time to go through all 25 pages!

Brought instead of BOUGHT - you didn't brought it in the shop, you bought it and brought it home
    Draw instead of DRAWER
    Incorrect use of your, you're.
    Their, there, they're.
Of and off, and vice versa.

At work - instead of asking if someone is free to speak, asking them 'can you talk?' Yeah since about the age of 2. That answer really annoy them.
Similarly at work - what have you got on today? Erm, black t-shirt, black trousers, boots, belt, protective gear, same as every other day at work!

Its not being used in the right context anymore. People should go read RussJK's thread about it in the Techie section.
