Words or phrases that drive you mad

I hated the word patently for a long time... for some reason I didn't know that it was a real word until recently and thought everyone meant 'blatantly'... patent was for inventions and leather shoes!

Still, at least I've now been educated :A

Yes, but at the end of the day it's quite a useful expression.

"You know what I mean?" Now and again maybe, but not after every sentence! Footballers during post-match interviews are the worst at this!
