I was standing at the bus stop today and two girls were talking, and after almost every sentence one of them ended it with 'd'ya get what I'm saying to ya?'. After the second time it was REALLY annoying! Fist was firmly in pocket.. :-/6 debts down - 1 to go: just over £1000 though, soon soon....
Staying happy and positive through 2011 (hopefully!) :j0 -

Referring to supermarket chains as "Mr T", "Mr S" and Sainsbugs. They are shops, not cutesy little kindergarten friends.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0

My absolute favourite has to be when we attend training sessions, you can guarantee the following phrase comes up at some point "Come on guys, let's all work together, because there's No 'I' in TEAM, we're one unit" [there is one in TWIT though].
Yeah but you cant spell c**t without U.One day some company will do what they say they will do and charge a fair charge.:T
Not doing the opposite of that which they promise and charge you a fortune for the privileged.
Or maybe not:mad:0 -
I've noticed a lot of people will edit their post on the forum to add some extra info at the end, and precede the addendum with 'ETA'.
Now, I can only assume they mean to write 'PS' but this annoys me like mad!0 -
1. I'll take that on board. (Why, are you going on a ship?)
2. I can see where you're coming from ( From around the corner)
2. I hear what you're saying (Well, of course you are, I'm talking to you, aren't I?)
4. Don't even go there. (Where?)0 -

I hate the use of lol. It's worse in lower case when it's not an abbreviation. There is no such word as "lol", the abbreviation means Laugh Out Loud - it's not a !!!!ing word!
What does irritate me is when it is used where the preceding sentence just isn't funny! Not at all laugh out loud. It kind of devalues the use of LOL and puts it in the same league as "right".0 -

I agree with this, greetings cards always seem to have "Mum" and I have never spelt it like this, it's always been "Mom" for me.
Cards for Nan always have Nan, Grandma, Granny, Nanna, Nana, Nanny. So why not a variety of different words for mother cards.
Thank god for Moonpig and Funky Pigeon where you can put your own wording on cards.
Other words that annoy me are "anythink" and "nuthink".
I could go on all night. :rotfl:Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670
