Oh my...I have this on my profile but it is TOTALLY tongue in cheek because i'm about as far from a domestic goddess as it gets!! :rotfl:Am I forgiven? :o

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Yep - anything done with a dose of humour is forgiven :)

(I am guilty of over use of "awesome" and "absolutely". I try to stop myself, but it just keeps happening! :) )

critique is a valid word, but it's a noun, not a verb

Oh you're right ! Have just looked it up in the dictionary (kri-teek) noun a critical essay or review !! It seems as though it is used a lot now. Still don't like it though.... makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up

Had a very quick scan through previous posts so apologies if I duplicate...

When people add me, I do, I am, I have etc to the end of a sentance. For example:

I've been really busy I have.

    I'm tired I am.

I love (insert item of choice) I do/me.

Also, when people add "thingy" in their sentences.

To be fair, I think that's a bit of a Welsh thing. We say it a lot down here, we do;)

Going on to pronunciations, what about the ITN newscaster yesterday who mention the Home Secertary:mad:

Would "thingumajig" or "oojumaflip" be ok?:laugh:
Call me what you like, I was a bit "tiddly" when I chose my username
