Chicken in restaurant

I recently ate in a chain restaurant and both my wife and I ordered half a chicken each. When it arrived each plate had 2 pieces of chicken, but together they did not look as though they'd make up half a chicken. For starters there were no legs in any of the 4 pieces, only a very small wing on each piece. I've never come across a legless chicken - is this misrepresentation? What can I do?, who should I complain to?, am I entitled to compensation?

What next? Eat in a chain restaurant and post on here complaining you didn't get any chains?....:rotfl:
Get over it, move on and if it worries you too much don't eat there again0 -

Whilst it may seem a trivial matter the OP may have a valid reason to whinge.
If you take for example short measures for alcohol (which is taken quite seriously) - it would be the same thing but people would kick up a fuss if they were only being served 90% of a pint - and so on.
Its just a lot lot harder to measure the same with food.0 -
It sounds as though someone in the kitchen can "do sums". Fractions, even...

I imagine the 'chef' opens the 'quarter-chicken' packs to microwave, and gave you two of them. Or at least not spit roast a frech chook then halved it before portioning it as evenly as they could. Multiples/chains are not always going to use the greatest chefs, especially if the menu and ordering is set at group level.0

Front half or back half, it's half.
Front half has breasts, back half has legs.
This is a nonsense post.0
