Loving this thread. My OH was reluctent about me painting the shed but i went ahead using cuprinol wild thyme and country cream. It looks great. Then i got carried away and painted two tables in the garden and a bench. It goes on so easy and ive found it goes a long way too.No matter how cold the winter

My 2 year old daughter was bad yesterday too:( then i was ill on night- I thought i had a migraine at first as felt the sickness coming on then was prompty very sick- Just feel shaky and feeble today and keep getting feverish- i really want to paint the shed too:mad:
wondering if i go out and sit on floor if i can get the lower level done:rotfl:
Its great to see everyone sharing their painted garden stories and inspiring others too:j
I really need some new fence panels down one side so sure i will be doing them too along the way- now the owner of a blueberry bush and a hibicus --not sure if i will kill them or not but i will atempt to keep them alive:D***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -

Oh thanks for this thread, was having a discussion with OH yesterday about sheds, i have one and i want the beach hut colours...
He say's it's a lot of work
I say but it will look lovely, reminds me of the seaside, i want pale colours and the greenery around it would look lovely..
he says ok, but it's still a lot of work0 -
nearly finished now! just doing the window sill today- it get eleswhere.
It looks rather boathouse than greek but it will do and will be brightened up when i get the pots up etc.
I must say the white really reflects the sun- i was dazzled whilst painting the trims and its made a lovely suntrap:j
oh has given his approval but said its not the colours he would have chosen:p
I will post a pic- its not amazing but at the end of the day its a shed:o
It will look better im sure when i sort the fences out and get some plants in pots etc- the whole garden is very bare now as stipped down to basic till i get it all done. Ive planned my bridge now so that may be next but daughter wants an aviary putting up so lord knows where thats going!
good luck everyone on your projects:j Cant wait to see what you have all done- my shed is 6 by 8 and wasnt hard to paint so sure its not a difficult job and its good to see the finish of something you have done yourself!***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -

It is finished:j Hardest bit was the side near our fence as it was a very tight squeeze- I wonder what the neighbours thought of me lying down wedged between shed and fence with just my legs and bum stuck out:eek::rotfl:
it took a bit longer mainly as neighbours kid demanded i watch him ride his bike up and down repetitively for hours- shouting if i turned away for one second "next doors mam-are you watching me?":rotfl:
A strange thing has happened though- i realised i have lots of paint left so have started the fence behind shed to match!:p***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -

the shed- bear in mind i have nothing else in my garden so far
i think it turned out more scarborough beach than santorini harbour though:eek::rotfl:***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -
Looks very nice, but I'm not sure about the tiny shopping basket stuck on the outsideFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
