I just looked at the website, they now show it in stock at my local store as well as for home delivery.
  • Hi all
I managed to get one of these yesterday, very pleased but can anyone tell me where I can get the best / cheapest memory card from. I wouldnt think I would do much video with it so do I need the 1gb?
    thanks in anticipation

Amazon is probably your best option - £12.27 for a 512MB one and £20.07 for 1GB (both original FujiFilm branded). If your order is over £15 you get free delivery. Ordered a 1GB one myself and it arrived this morning; might not need that size but I figured at that price the extra £8 was worth it just in case I did.
  • I've ordered a 1 gb card from the following, still waiting for delivery (only been a couple of days) - the VAT free option from Jersey seems like a good buy (p&p is below a £1 if I remember correctly).

Edit- just received card, ordered 2/12, delivered 6/12 - £18.89 for a 1gb XD card delivered from Jersey.
  • Anybody found any good quality 'bargain' cases for the S5600?

    Cheers,

If you shoot in RAW mode, then you can easily fill many of these on a days outing.
Each pic can be an average of 16mb, but well worth it if your really into editing your pics.
    £2 savers club = £83.50

Looks canny and as it's a proper Fuji one it'll be a good fit.

Also had this one suggested to me:1153753196-large.jpg

It's £9.99 inc free p&p from mymemory.co.uk and the spec looks good - a mate has bought one for his Argos S5600 and he's going to bring it in to work when it arrives so I can have a butcher's.

    Wonderful!

Have a look at the crap being advertised on eBay for the S5600 and it'll become immediately obvious just how good a buy this is. Then have a look at the prices eBay sellers want for post & packing. . !

    Thanks, Bubba! :T

I got a nice leather camera bag (black) for £9.99 @ tesco's, it looks very much like a ladies hand bag, good for me but not the male shoppers. I cant find the product online .... sorry. The camera fits very nice inside with velcro'd cushioned support, plenty of room for batteries and memory in front pocket.

  • Hi

I've had this camera for a year now , got it for 199.99 , and at the time was voted best camera for £300 ( it was reduced in price since the review ) . Have been very impressed and the auto point and shoot mode means you don't have to be an expert , although the ability to change shutter / aperture settings will keep the wannabe's happy to! At this price I would advise to get it quick , what a bargain !!!
