Have a look under Parking Eye on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803 for an idea of what to expect.0

I have spent the last six years looking at customers credit files and I have NEVER seen ONE single entry on one from a parking company-not ever.0 -
Nina,
Just to reinforce what has been said already - it is absolutely spot on.
The best advice is not to read the letters, but if you do, be aware they are quite carefully worded to frighten you.
There will be words such as 'if' and 'could' before the empty threats of court action.
I have had two of these tickets and successfully ignored both of them.0 -
I collect Parking Eye invoices for fun, and even tried unsuccessfully to goad them into issuing court papers.
As the others have said, ignore.0 -
Hello all,
just to let you know that i recievd my second letter a week after my first penalty fine......
I have listened to advice here and again ignored the letter as if i have no nothing about a ticket from parking eye.
How many are i ment to expect from them??? anyone know???
I drove to farmfoods again but was nervous about parking my car in again.... although did look carefully at the notice saying 2 hours free parking. However 3-6 hours is £3.60 or 24 hours parking at a higher cost.... so how the hell did they know i did not pay and display even in the dark???
Thanks for the guidance as i have never ignored letter before so new to this although may sound silly... but true.
Thanks Nina0 -
Although you are indeed new to ignoring letters....you are now as accomplished as any other person reading this thread.....it's not exactly hard is it???Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0

Just two small corrections - it's not a "penalty" and it's not a "fine".What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I disagree it most certainly is a "penalty" which is exactly why it should be ignored . The LAW does NOT allow private companies to issue penalties nor does it allow penalties to be included in the terms of a consumer contract.
Parkingeye know this as well as we do which is why despite all their letters they won't be taking the OP or anyone else to court ..ever ..:-)0
