Parking Eye Ilford Retail Park Car Park Near Farmfoods

To my horror i received a ticket from these people stating that i parked my vehicle without displaying a valid ticket. But they take photos of when cars go in and come out so what do they know about the disabled badge being displayed?
I parked in the evening on saturday and have only recieved the letter from them stating that i need to pay £60. Being a single parent isn't easy I parked my car just after 6pm and came out about 9.30 and my mother is disabled.

I could not see the signs clearly and went to eat at the local retuarant.

How guttered i feel trying to cheer my mother up who is unwell and receieve a ticket.
Should i send a copy of the badge?? we did not park in a disabled bay as it was dark and car park was very busy.

Please advice

Thanks.
Nina

  • Thanks for the reply.... but i'm new to theis site so unsure of the stickies?? i was thinking of writing a letter enclosing the badge image but will not do so now. But it states on the letter that they got my details from DVLA

Dont bother doing anything except ignoring all and any correspondence from them- dont even open it as it is designed to scare you its all a scam so put it in the bin. Dont worry about the dvla they'll sell your details to just about anyone for a few quid this has nothing to do with them, the law or any councils.

Good for them, its nice to know they are £2.50 down the pan. Continue to ignore them and all the following letters, be prepared for them to be ever more threatening but they are just as if I sent you a letter asking for £50.00.

The stickies are the threads at the top of the forum. In the first, you will see the letters they send out to people. Have a game of PPC Bingo and tick them off one by one :)

To affect your credit rating they have to take you to court (unlikely) you lose (very unlikely) you not pay what the judge orders (not going to happen is it)

Unless you live across from their portakabin, no chance. Even then they have no powers whatsoever.
