I've just found 4 jars of peanut butter lurking at the back of the cupboard along with a couple of packets of M&M's and a packet of 9 Snickers, all in date :T

:T Cupboard cleaned and nicely sorted  Just sitting down for my 15 minutes before starting my next 15 minutes. Will probably start on some of the paperwork mountain.

Any one know what I can do with 3kg of pineapple in a tin?? Bearing in mind I have 2 gluten intolerant children. I suppose some could go into a sweet and sour and obviously I can use some for pud with icecream but what do I do with the other 2 point something kilo :D

Know where you mean now Bitsy, used to work round the corner years ago and still have insulated lunch bags I bought there for something like 5p each....nothing classy about it though!

Tigerfeet....I would decant pineapple into a container in fridge and use it for snacking on as well as your own ideas....would your children eat it, we all love pineapple here so wouldn't be a problem, although DGS (8) has decided that he prefers fresh! If you make gluten free cakes you could also use some in that.

tigerfeet, on one of the tough threads someone had the same problem, and I think pineapple jam was the suggection she took up.

EDIT 0 it must have been a thread of its own, and merged into an older thread here it is :)https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/445612

    Hello everyone

Sorry to hear about the job worries, I work in school, and we have just been through the redundancy thing, some staff who are "bought-in" are not having their contracts renewed. My role is thankfully ok but there will be some changes, not sure what though.

Very foggy and damp here all day, will hopefully be better tomorrow as I am taking some children to a sporting event.

    Have a lovely evening everyone.
