Hi there
Managed another decentish night sleep and another day without falling asleep in the afternoon. So it's going well so far. Also managed to walk and Wii both days.
Only downer is yet another trip to the dentist as my unfilled root and sort of abcess flared up again. It's been redressed but dentists have now decided they want a specialist to look at it - and wouldn't you know that it's not covered on either my private dental plan OR my work healthcare! So that's about £75 for the initial consultation and if I decide to go ahead and the specialist does the root filling it will be £300-500 - ouch!!!!
Anyway Wm on, DW emptied, bins done - must be dinner time - HM tuna spinach pasta bake with baked beans - yes I know it's an odd combination but they need eating up!!

Evening All
It has snowed here all day! It was quite wet snow so didn't lie thank goodness, Jackie hope yours has gone now and OH gets in safely (at 9pm!).
After work I did the ironing, hoovered through, brought in the coal and lit the fire, fed the hens and made tea. Just having a chill for a while and may go to tap class at 8.30.
Gintot - sorry you aren't going to Japan but so glad that your family are safe.
Happy Birthday Tru, have a good one! :bdaycake:
Julie - maybe you should hit him with the cake!
Hester, hope the tent blows away soon!
Flutterby - Glad your first day back wasn't too bad, hope you continue to improve.
Lunch was chicken salad and tea was the cheese and onion pastie I made last night - very tasty too.
Take care all. XX0 -

Very foggy here all day. football after school went ahead though, just sat down now. Been on my feet all day, so need a cup of tea and a chill.
Just watching the news, it just doesn't get easier for the poor folks in Japan, it must be awful experiencing the strong aftershocks.
Have a lovely evening.

Evening everyone
Hope you have had a good birthday Tru
Esmf – we went on one of those presentations when we were on hol in Tenerife, you know they give you a scratch card and you have won, come and get your prize! I really didn’t want to go but OH said why not, 4 hours later we are saying no, no, no so she has to get her manager another hour later blah blah and we walked away with 200 cheap fags that even I couldn’t smoke :rotfl:
Taplady – I worked in a kitchen at a day centre and we got a new manager, he put a healthy eating plan into action, puddings were fruit or yogurt, every day we had service users asking where the proper puddings had gone. As you say, they don’t have a lot else and is denying them a chocolate pudding with choc sauce really going to make their lives better? Nope, its all down to managers deciding what is best
Gintot – glad to hear that your DD and family are ok – the pictures we are seeing on the news are so horrific.
JackieO – I wonder if my OH will be delivering your new car he started a new job 2 weeks ago as a car transporter driver and today was his first day out on his own and he is down south, on way to Sussex and Kent.
Weather here today has been fine but foggy for most of day, quite mild though. Work has been, errrrrrrrr as usual. The strange lad we had left today, no notice. So thats us picking up the bit of work he did, not a lot in itself, but all these '5 min' jobs add up! They have advertised for someone else, but not his job, TBH I would like the job they have adv, but not offered it, so guess they think I can't do it
My poor DD now has food poisoning to add to her SPD, she blames the meal her husband cooked her! Can't wait till I see her at weekend, lots of spoiling for her next week I think.
Tea tonight was still leftovers from Sunday roast, strange how nice it is on a sunday and how fed up you are with it on a Tuesday :rotfl:
Washing just finished, need to go and hang it over rads, got a little bit of ironing to do, trying to wash, iron and pack in suitcase...since I lost weight I don't have many clothes so have to keep it all under control
Hugs for anyone who needs them, I really wanted to reply to more...but get scared I will be in trouble for long posts lol
Have a good evening xxxxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Evening everyone
Been quite cloudy here most of the day. Not alot of os has been done today as went out for lunch with 1 of mums from school to a Turkish restaurant. It was very reasonable price wise and the food was delicious. She also took me to a town nearby where there is a lidl, so I bought some of their bread flour to try and also some meatballs which were on offer 2 lots for £3.00.
Os today floors swept. Dinner was bacon & mushroom risotto which whilst this was cooking I baked 2 weetibix cakes, which unfortunately don't last very long in this house.
Tru - happy birthday, hope you've had a lovely day
Gintot ((hugs))
jackieg - hope you and your dh are now friends.
Flutterby - glad you enjoyed your day back at work, make sure you don't do too much too soon.
Lamewolf - nice to see you.
Molly41 - glad you had a nice day with mooloo. Hope everthing
goes ok tomorrow.
Well ds2 annual review went well. The head of the dyslexia unit from the high school came, she is very knowledgable about resources available and what his school needs to be working on with him to get him where he needs to be. He has made very good progress since moving school last September though, he had written a full paragraph which this time last year he couldn't write a sentence. Although there were mistakes in his spelling, we could read the story all the way through.
Enjoy what's left of your evening. Hugs to anyone
that needs/wants one. Take care.
