Hester -cannot believe the cheek of your colleague! How can anyone be "entitled" to a wedding invitation??? Dearie me! It's bad enough when distant family members feel slighted if they're not invited, but aquaintances??? She needs to get real!
    .
I don't think its so much that...I was in the position in my last but one job where I worked directly opposite and in close conjunction with a girl who was getting married. I daily covered for her mistakes and shortcomings, said nothing about the fact that she was getting more from the same agency for sitting around on the net and phone, helped her plan her wedding and put up with her being rude and almost bullyish on a regular basis for the best part of a year including covering her huge workload when she regularly took days off for tummy aches, holidays and honeymoons. I wasn't too fussed about not being invited to her wedding as a lot of the time she was pretty unlikeable and I probably would not have gone.

However..the embarrassment factor of being the only one in our department and the only one in regular contact with her who was NOT invited was colossal and sadly reflected not on her , her personality and manners but made it appear as if I had done something wrong.

    Hello again,
BB we have a little polytunnel and quite a big garden.
Beemuzed apparently the original recipe meant white wine according to ChocClare but she uses red wine and someone else posted that they'd made it with cider and that worked well too. I'm going to use red wine tonight and experiment on the 7 of us:)
Cooked breakfast for DH and me. Stripped bed now in WM will put out as fog has gone and I can see the big yellow disc in the sky:)
Now need to empty and reload DW and put BM on.
I bet I can find lots more things to fill my time before there's no excuse but to do my planning;)
Hugs to all who need or want. Prayers for Japan, Silver x

Morning all:wave::wave:weather is grey but dry.I accidently left the washing out on the line last night so will need to go out and get it in .Not feeling 100% today :( couldn't settle last night and was pacing the floor at 2am  woofer thought it was time to go for a walk.Managed to fall asleep on the recliner at about 5 so am feeling exhausted and stiff and achy .Have to therefore take it easy today so not to start the spiral of fibro flareup off. Postie has just brought sons new cardigan and polo top for him , should have come to £145 but he got them for just over £60 god knows how but he is money savvy for sure;).Dinner tonight is ............not decided yet;) will be something quick and easy or may just break my golden rule and give way to a cheeky takeaway.:eek:. Its only once in a blue moon.;). Am going to try and grab a few hours this afternoon to have a snooze, but ds4 is home in about 45 mins for the rest of the school day( part time timetable due to him having CFS) so will have to see how he is feeling first as this is his first day back since catching something last week .
Birthday greetings, congratulations , feel better soon , hope that covers everyone ;)hugs for all enjoy the rest of your days:wave::wave:

    Morning

Well I have been to the gym and I sneaked in a visit to the steam room and hot tub.

It's snowing here. I thought it might be too wet to lie but it is starting too.

WM is on and I have the dishes to do and general tidy up. Dinner tonight is steak pie, totties and veg.

Going to bake some fairy cakes and twinks.

Other than that its a fairly lazy day for me.

Taplady I know what you mean about getting obsessed with dieting, the difference is I never get to goal:D I have asked my DH to put the scales on a high shelf so that only he can reach and he gets them down once a week

Ok I need to rant:mad: just been in Mr T's when DH rang and asked if I would send a message to a customer with some details, but couldn't hear very well so I said can't hear you, he then proceded to roar down the phone, so I said don't shout, finally got the details but he never once asked how I was or what I was up to or if my tooth was any better and I was in there buying mixed fruit so I could make him a sodding fruit cake:mad: ok I know it sounds a bit pathetic but he gets very single minded when he is at work and I am not one of his staff that he can tell what to do.

Anyway have calmed down now, shall go throw some washing around

    Hi All
I'm back from the hospital & it seems I have a tent as well as ARMD, a tent? Does that mean I can go to Glastonbury this year? The Dr showed me the tent on the scan, it looks like a 2 berth tent to me, I have to go back in 3 months to see if the tent has disappeared or has grown to a 4 berth!
Reverbe, yes it is understandable being the only one left out, but in this case only 6 out of 17 were invited, so I feel she had no reason to complain.
DD took me to hospital & brought me home, I finally got to see the newest DGD awake & she smiled at me. DD assures me I look like a druggie with hugely dilated pupils, lol.
I'm going to potter in the garden.
    Have a good afternoon everyone.
    Hugs Hester
