    You know what, people.

    Plough your own furrow.

That's what I say. Enjoy the rewards it brings, but accept the risks and consequences.

(Well, I say 'plough your own furrow' to most on here, except Sibley. If he frequents Pattaya with a budget for fun, my suggestion could lead to unplanned consequences!)

I am not suggesting YOU are anything, who is generalising now, or more accurately who maybe thinks that the universe revolves around them.

I will say it again, there are huge numbers out there that are frightened to death(no, not all) who are so indebted mainly due to there desire to own property that they are now at the mercy of spending cuts, interest rate rises, job cuts etc etc

The only thing that makes all this debt slavery make sense is the little equity some have made, take that away and give people a 30% plus fall and then watch them crumble

You are just being disingenuous not to acknowledge this, the BOE are aware of the dangers, the government are, that's why policys such low interest rates are like they are
Maybe you don't own property because you are a bit dim???
You obviously don't understand basic logic. You said and i quote

I have ploughed a lot of money in to property so i fall into your first statement. The universal set if you like. Then, with your second statement you say these people (I am one of them) are desperate. Why am i excluded from this set then????

My house has fallen in value, i am not desperate and i am not lashing out. Quite the contrary. I am going to finish work in a minute, cook a nice dinner in my lovely kitchen then have a nice glass of Cava in my conservatory looking out at my lovely garden. Of course, before the crash it would have been Moet but there you go :-D

I agree fox. People are so obsessed with their property going up in price its comical.

No need to worry though, a crash is coming baby. Check out the fundamentals behind the housing market and it makes frighteneing reading for any property investor wannabe

TIIIMMMMMBBBBBEERRRRRRRR - house price crash is coming. Get out whilst you can.
I am not a financial expert, and the post above is merely my opinion.:j

Sibley you're a fool, but no doubt you're happy as you get other nutters to bite at your postings.

    Quantify "bite".

Contempt, derision and !!!! taking is not really the same as "getting a rise" out of someone.

I will admit to cringing when the usual suspects on here boasting about being 'homeowners' as if they're talking about being members of the Bollingdon Club, or MENSA or whatever... around three quarters of people their age can say the same! Is that really something to boast about?!?

But I'm not sure that anyone's "whole self worth" depends on pwoperdee. Other than H obviously.
    FACT.

Foxy you have some issues. If you have convinced yourself being skint in a Beruit style housing estate is making you happy then fine. Don't try ramming it down everyone elses throat.

I've just come back from a weekend in Pattaya. Trust me, money can buy things that make you happy.

Stop ramming down everyone else's throat what you had rammed down your throat this weekend.
