    You could, but I see a difference between 'should interest rates rise?' and 'what are the effects of Caesium-137?' - especially on a money saving website.

    That wasnt my question, I have not found a good source of info about the crisis.

    If you have found a good place to get accurate info please post the link.

    Until then I think Dr Busby is about the best source, unless any one thinks otherwise?

    The scientific community has been writing papers on Fukushima since relatively soon after the tsunami appeared. If you click on Google scholar (go to Google homepage and then "more" from the pull-down menu, then scholar), you can do a search for subjects you are interested in.

    Once there you could put say "fukushima nuclear" in the search box and 2011 in the timescale box. That'll give you plenty to read.

    One of the links, for example, is to an article on the health of the workers from the Lancet which also in turn gives a whole host of other interesting links:

    In many ways this is already worse than Chernobyl, and death toll is now in the millions over 25 years.

    From the World Health Organisation study into Chernobyl;

    The Expert Group concluded that there may be up to 4 000 additional cancer deaths among the three highest exposed groups over their lifetime (240 000 liquidators; 116 000 evacuees and the 270 000 residents of the SCZs). Since more than 120 000 people in these three groups may eventually die of cancer, the additional cancer deaths from radiation exposure correspond to 3-4% above the normal incidence of cancers from all causes.

    I would hope so, seeing as you keep quoting him and I (like you and everyone else on this thread) know !!!! all about the subject.

    Well if you believe Chernobyl only caused 4000 deaths over 25yrs then you will believe anything. Also there is no doubt that this one will be far worse in a lot less years.

    I however tend to believe those who say you can not say how many deaths were caused by Chernobyl but it will be certainly more than 4000.

    You carry on believing what you want :)
