That really is a good point. £20 is nothing if you consider what you are entitled to from a case of overpriced wine

In that case then the ad is misleading as it should now be changed to:,

''Tesco are cheaper than asda but if not we'll give you up to £20 which will still make asda cheaper''

dont get why people are complaining, what do you think they will do? back down and remove the cap and let the abuse continue? no, they will decide it's not worth all the hassle and pull the offer completely, who cares if it's advertised yet or not, it's gonna take them more than 24hours to make new signs and put them out.

i put a dtd receipt in yesterday morning at 9am before the t&cs changed as far as im aware. i havent heard anything yet. i dont want to put the receipt in again in case they have reset it all and it will count as today under the new £20 cap. any advice on what to do?

I agree, I think if we complain too much Tesco are liable to pull the whole thing.

If we just accept that they are pulling the strings then it may continue. I am happy with the odd £20 voucher- it keeps me in wine:beer:
