When you redeem your DTD voucher you have to give your original receipt to the cashier?

In theory yes, I did but some haven't had to apparently. - in fact they actually checked the receipt details matched those on the receipt.

Crikey, I think I got a bit carried away... I didn't realise until I got to the checkout that the total bill was actually £212.65! My weekly shops are usually half this, and the majority of stuff I bought was items I wanted anyway (apart from the 2 bottles of baileys and the bottle of champagne!)

Admittedly there is about £20 worth of stuff that's probably not comparable but everything else I'm expecting a substantial DTD back. I'm now bobbing myself cos I'm positive the amount I can claim back will be well over the £100 - has anyone else been in this situation?? Just goes to show how much you save by careful shopping!

My shopping today came to £105 and I'm hoping that almost £100 of it will be returned in a voucher but it was my first time so I've got everything crossd.

While the Tesco staff don't seem overly familiar with the whole thing you may well be ok if you spend it sooner rather than later. I have no idea how / if Tesco can enforce the £100 per household per calendar month rule, but clearly if the amount on the voucher is greater than £100 I would say they are well within their rights to adjust it to a £100 maximum.

yes thats the idea, although if its alot cheaper in asda in can work out you get the item free or for pennies ie cornflakes tesco £1.99 asda £1.00 so 99px2 back so cornflakes = 1p for breaky:rotfl:

I think I'm right in saying that it has to be listed on tescos price checker website. some things might be cheaper but if they aren't listed they're not included. (Is that right)

Please try to avoid posting factually incorrect information...

    Wolf Blass £9.49

The price of wolf blass was £6.00 but was raised to £9.49 today.

The prices quoted on price checker are for yesterday.

Thanks for the information. Sorry I posted in error.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
