The cheese BOGOF thing felt weird to me but I managed it.
I was mortified at how little I had bought from Tesco for my £56 spend on Monday. Still, the £48 voucher made me feel quite a bit better.0 -

Also it updates any price changes.

Just done my shop with the first dtd voucher (£64) my shop was £91 so I paid £27 and have worked out should get a £76 voucher back tomorrow, to go and buy all my usual things. So for my initial outlay of £74 to get the £64 voucher and now my £27, ive spent £25 to get loads of items and my next dtd voucher (£76) to spend on normal things......
cashier said wow thats a big amount, took the receipt signed the bottom and gave it back easy as thatThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -
2nd visit and still no receipt even asked for. Supervisor called over as cashier had not seen a voucher before, no fuss and voucher taken, £31 off shopping bill. Cat has so much posh cat food now and we are living on cornetto's, cheese, quavors and frosties for a week or two!
No Dettol spary though to buy.0 -
When you redeem your DTD voucher you have to give your original receipt to the cashier?
I would suggest that Tesco would be expecting their staff to do just that, even if it hasn't been done in every (many) case(s).
It does say on the Ts & Cs you'll need your receipt to use your voucher, so I've just stapled my reciept and voucher together. It's better to be safe and to be sure you won't get tripped up on these things, especially when you're dealing in £76 notes.0 -
