Wolf bass has now been reduced. No bargain there.

Please try to avoid posting factually incorrect information...

    Wolf Blass £9.49

The price of wolf blass was £6.00 but was raised to £9.49 today.

The prices quoted on price checker are for yesterday.

Ok, just had my online order delivered. I handed the driver my DTD voucher.

The driver said, what is that?

I said you need to hand it in and have my card refunded. He didn't have a freaking clue. Great.

I just spoke to Tesco.com about it, they said what is a Pricecheck voucher. Then he said, the drivers don't accept those :rotfl:

Hmmm let me read the voucher, what does it say, 'hand to the driver'.

Fingers crossed it is sorted tomorrow.:)

:rotfl:Lol, I bought 2 of each toothpastes hoping they weren't on a multibuy.

It was hard deliberately not buying 2 lurpacks and going for the £2.75 mouthwash rather than a 50 p one;)

Its not fair if they do, if you buy your shopping when it was dearer than that should be it. Fingers crossed.

Pricechecker has no impact on things as it is quoting prices from the previous day.

All that matters is the price on the day of purchase (which will be clearly displayed on your receipt):
Is the price check made for the date of the shop or at the time of entering receipt details?
The price check comparison with ASDA products is for the date of the shop, rather than at the time of entering receipt details.

Hmm How do they mark the recipt that is used with the voucher? I collected my school vouchers earlier fro the CS as I used SS and they scribbled a random scribble on the bottom of my reciept, I hope they're going to still let me use the reciepts!!! Also...earlier on I did a sneaky DTD with a left over SEL on easter eggs of £1. Bought 2 and got £6 DTD back, so technically I got them free but will the price checker thing assume that I paid £2.50 each and give me DTD back and if they do will I be able to use it with the receipt as it has DTD £6 scrawled all over it...

They stapled my receipt to my voucher and put it in the till.

So as long as the Tesco grocery website and Asda website say the prices you want all you need the price check website for is to make sure the item is included in the price check offer.

Why are people worried about the price checker updating then?

sorry for being so dopey, I'm still trying to get my head round it.

I was intending to get the extra strong cheese, but couldn't actually bring myself to get only one off a BOGOF - that's how conditioned I am by supermarket selling tacticts!

When you redeem your DTD voucher you have to give your original receipt to the cashier?
  • I think people are wondering when price check updates so they can check the item comes up and see what tomorrows bargains are. might be wrong as just getting head round it myself.

Also it updates any price changes.
