  • UPDATE FOR EVERYONE WITH OLD VOUCHERS FOR MORE THAN £20

just rang and explained i printed it off last week and have not been in since, she said yes it was still valid. I asked for her name and she logged on her computer how much the voucher was worth (£97.53 - how embarassing!) and said if i have any problems to get the store to ring them. she gave me her name, her managers name, a reference number and said she had logged it so anyone can see it if they ring up. I would advise doing the same before you shop, just incase.

    1. The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.

I have just sent off an email

I suggest every one of you do the same thing, especially if you are waiting for a big DTD that was entered yesterday or befor e.

I don't mind you using my email as your draft. You are welcome to use it.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send this off if you want to see results!!

    Dear Sir/Madam

I did an instore shop with Tesco yesterday as I was interested in the recent promotion started by yourselves, where you were offering double the difference on items found cheaper in Asda.

I received my results this morning, thank you. But there seems to be somethin amiss.

Here is what my results said

'This time, your shop would have been £ 17.17 cheaper at ASDA so we'll give you a voucher for double the difference back! . '

As you can imagine I was quite pleased with the results but when I clicked on the print voucher it said the voucher is for £20.00 and not £34.34 as it should have been.

I have noticed changes to your terms and conditions in the last couple of hours. But when I entered my receipt details yesterday it stated it was capped at £100 not £20

How can Tesco justify changing the terms and conditions for receipts entered into the system prior to the changes.

I appreciate Tesco can change their T&Cs at any time but surely those changes should apply to receipts entered into the price checker after the changes of the T&Cs and not before?

I look forward to your response

    Kind Regards

    XXXXXXXX

I have a voucher for £111.56 printed at home from the weekend. Will they still honour that?

I only did small shops from the start (mainly cos im a chicken which im glad about now!) so it hasnt really affected me but be honest we all knew the fall out was coming just didnt know when and didnt know how.

Lets all get out and spend the vouchers we got or return all our items and rememeber that asda are actually (usually) cheaper and take our custom there!!

    Well done Tesco

After i use the voucher i have i can honestly say i will never return to one of your stores again. Not only have we had to deal with very rude shop assistants (they even went as far as ripping receipts so as some people couldnt check their DTD) over a deal YOU promoted but way you have handled this now is shocking.

I hope you get the bad press you deserve on this latest move. ASDA must me watching on having a right good giggle.
