My cashier kept my receipt with my voucher tonight, I think this is more not knowing what the heck to do rather than something they are made to do! I did question it and she questioned someone else who said keep it as long as the customer does not need it, I really did not fancy causing any more of a fuss as I had already used a £1 off Ariel Gel voucher, £4 off £40 tesco voucher, £12 of £60 spend sainsbury voucher and lastly a £2 off Glenfiddoch voucher, then used the DTD to make my total spend £3 something!

    What can I say - good luck - lol:j
I guess I really shouldn't be still on here, you've been to Tescos and done your shop and I've done nothing but read the forums!!!
Note to self - I really do need to get a life!

Haven't posted before on this thread before, but I'm so loving this Tesco DTD situation, its guerilla shopping at its best. I am getting a bit sick of going to Tescos now though, have been 4 times in as many days. Used my latest voucher tonight no problem at all, I used the same SA who served me last night, neither time did they bat an eyelid, no superviser or anything. I have been paying cash (not much) and don't have a clubcard

Have I taken the p*ss ? Probably, do I care, hell no..

I've enough wine / breakfast cereal / Iams / creams / lotions / beans etc to last a long time, have used about £180 worth of vouchers so far with another £90 one to use and another £70ish one on the way. This is way better than the old R&R days.

I'm going to lay low for a bit now (well until next week at least), good luck to you all, just dont let them try and fob you off with the underhand tactics that have been reported recently.

Quick question, apologies for interrupting your chat ;)

Can anyone confirm if the Heidsieck Blue Top Champagne Brut N/V is price matching at Tesco? as can't find it on their website even though they have it in my local store...

Thanks for your help folks :T

Kinda happy they put in a max 100 quid per transaction as that one was pretty obvious to come in.. as its 100 quid a month so going over 100 in one transaction is pretty silly.

Hopefully will teach people to play in the rules or more in the rules at least lol.

i suspect the houshold rule will be enforced soon.

    Hi
Got a reply regarding "Price/Product check" page disappearance.

    Used to be this one:

    http://pricecheck.logicalinternetsolutions.com/display.php?dept=G

Here it is (took them 2 days to get back to me)

    Dear Mrs *******

Thank you for your email addressed to Philip Clarke our Chief Executive, regarding our Price Check website, to which I have been asked to respond.

We recently relaunched our Price Check facility, and have added further functionality to improve our customers experience and promote our great value prices. The new website is based upon purchases made, and a customer would input either their receipt details from a store purchase or Grocery Home Shopping order. Once these details have been submitted, our team then work hard to compare the prices for the products a customer has bought, with our largest competitor ASDA. Whilst we are confident that we will be cheaper, we have however committed ourselves to providing a voucher worth 'double the difference' in case we are not in any particular instance.

Regrettably, because of the way in which the information for the previous Price Checker had to be gathered, the prices were not always right up to date and we did receive complaints regarding this. Additionally, we noticed a significant drop in the number of customers that were using this resource in favour of the new system. After careful consideration, we decided that our new way of comparing prices, which allows customers to check the price of an entire shop, was the type of service that we wanted to focus on. This being the case, I am sorry to say that our previous 'single item' Price Checker will not be returning.

Having said this, we very much appreciate your feedback and I would like to assure you that your comments regarding this matter have been noted and will be kept in mind for any future review of this service.

Thank you once again for bringing this matter to the attention of our Chief Executive's Office. I hope that we can look forward to your continued and valued custom in the future.

    Kind Regards

    Ewan Small
    Customer Service Executive

How can they enforce the household rule?
I have 2 daughters whom dont live with me, they both have laptops, do their own shopping, enter their own details, but come to my house to print their vouchers off as neither of them own a printer, so, will all vouchers printed from my address be counted towards the 100 pound maximum?
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Just been to Tesco Blackpool and spent my £100 voucher. The till assis had never seen one, supervisor passed it no problems and I was never asked to show my recipt. Only thing was my voucher should have been for £116.00 according to the e-mail but when I printed it, it was capped at £100 (not that I am complaining). Very easy and friendly transaction. My sister also used hers (she was behind me) with no problems. Picked up some more wine whilst we were there too (No tuners White left) but loads of red still there

What's the typical 'short' time you might get a return email from the Tesco DTD calculator?
