Just got back and now cacking myself because I'm sure I've got over £100 DTD due so can't see it going through! Wasn't intending to be so greedy - but had a list of everything with the expectation it would all be oos or repriced but it was all there. Plenty wine, champagne & gin at Kettering btw, but Smirnoff reduced to Mr A price. Just off to tot it up

Then went back in and used one of my DTD vouchers and got Iams, Steak, Timotei, Impulse, the cashier kept my receipt/DTD voucher but my greed for bargains has cost me big style tonight i've managed to lose my blackberry mobile phone - totally devastated especially as I live alone and now have no means of communication if i have any problems.0 -

Please can someone tell me what tesco's instore returns policy is, can you return food (tins and bottles) and toiletries (shower gel and shampoo)
Also does anyone know what the stars on the tesco recpits mean? some items have * next to them and some dont, is this tesco code for anything?
the returns policy covers everything in store including fresh and frozen products for 28 days.
the stars are just for items that have vat included in them0 -
Quick question, apologies for interrupting your chat
Can anyone confirm if the Heidsieck Blue Top Champagne Brut N/V is price matching at Tesco? as can't find it on their website even though they have it in my local store...
Thanks for your help folks :T0 -
There is no way I am going to give my receipt to anybody in Tesco's to keep. Not only is it the guarantee for everything I bought (what happens if my wine is off) but there is nothing stopping any Tesco staff then photocopying my voucher and using my receipt to spend a voucher/s in the shop.
that's true.. of course you voucher is worth more than their job and they are all crooks right?:mad:0 -

Hells Teeth - here we go again! This is not fraud, abuse or anything other than sensible use of a voucher! The OP is not RE-USING an already used voucher, she is just using a legitimately obtained DTD voucher to buy her shopping and then, having input her receipt details and found (surprise , surprise!) that she is issued ANOTHER DTD voucher, has used the second voucher for another shop. There is nothing (so far) in the T&Cs to prevent that and there shouldn't be a problem.
Unless its obvious from the 2 receipts that the £100 limit has been breeched or that the second shop has been for identical items to those on the first receipt - that might well suggest to staff that its not 'fair usage' - there is nothing to take issue with.ELITE 5:2

Been and spent another 2 vouchers this afternoon, still not encountered any problems and I have used about 7 now. The staff have never checked the numbers on the receipt collate with the voucher nor have they signed either receipt!? Nothing new to report, stocked up on herbal essences, huggies wipes, nivea, garnier 7d, gilette razor, airwick plug in and the reed diffusers and a bottle of turner road! Loving this dtd, means I get all the treats I can no longer afford to buy in a normal shop!0
