I see what you are saying lalamb, but what is the chance of 2 tesco department managers making up the same rule iyswim!

Its highly likely! They could have attended the same "being a weasel" course ;)

I would just point out that its not you that sets the price its tesco and if that difference is big enough to mean you get back more than you paid then whose fault is it.

Tesco could simply start charging 50.1% more than asda and they wouldnt have to pay out a penny then.

Worked for me and my mam - both had DTD coupons for around the £90-95 mark and in Basingstoke and Winchester respectively, the supervisor was called but passed them both. Mum's in Winchester signed her receipt but gave it back, mine gave me my receipt without signing it, and my checkout lady was so surprised and pleased for me - when I told her that staff could use the pricecheck too she was over the moon! Thank you to everyone for answering my dumb questions!

Am anxiously awaiting my first 2 coupons from shops done earlier today.... got a bit carried away with the booze!

I did one shop under my email address & one under my DH's..... when the email comes through do you have to print the coupon right away when you open it? I dont want my DH to open it at work tomorrow and not be able to print it and to screw all my hard work up! Is there a link to the voucher in the email that he could fwd on to me to print?

Just did a shop and used a £73 voucher fine, was soooo scared though, though everyone was looking at me, then thought the supervisor was talking about me, then the security guard walked past, AHHHH!! But the checkout girl said she'd seen a couple of other vouchers today and was pleased that i was getting a 'bargain'..
Unfortunately when i got home i realised i brought the wrong razor, got the gillette power instead of the manual (DOH)!!:mad:
That's why they were talking about you... :D

Been to Tesco tonight and got parents 8 bottles of Turners - they took £4.00 is that a discount for buying so many bottles?
Then went back in and used one of my DTD vouchers and got Iams, Steak, Timotei, Impulse, the cashier kept my receipt/DTD voucher but my greed for bargains has cost me big style tonight i've managed to lose my blackberry mobile phone - totally devastated especially as I live alone and now have no means of communication if i have any problems.

    1. Where an item on a receipt is returned and a Price Check voucher has already been redeemed in relation to this receipt, any refund offered for the item may be offered net of the Price Check voucher's value.
